Free Thought Project – by Claire Bernish

Government agents have again let their true colors shine, in a latest attempt to fight one of the most pernicious and brutal crimes embattling far too many communities across the nation — a lack of permit.

Never fear, code enforcers raided street food vendors outside Sacramento’s Southside Park, where they have long made food and beverages available to the public and attendees of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church each Sunday.   Continue reading “Armed Agents Raid Park, Destroy Food, Seize Food Carts — Over Improper Permitting”

If you’re a resident of Huntingdon County unfortunate enough to have your property in the path of Sunoco’s Mariner East 2 pipeline, you can forget protesting — unless arrest and jail time aren’t an issue for you.

Common Pleas Court Judge George Zanic signed a rare and factious “writ of possession” order last week in favor of Sunoco, which had sought an “emergency measure” to thwart landowners protesting pipeline construction by occupying trees — on their own property.   Continue reading “Big Oil Now Has Authority to Arrest You for Protesting a Pipeline on Your OWN Property”

Austria — Highlighting the difficulty both public and private establishments can have when it comes to adapting methods in the digital age, it was reported Monday that one government is now trying to tax search giant Google and social media companies.

From a report by Bloomberg:

“Austria is seeking ways to make digital services like Alphabet Inc.’s Google or Facebook Inc. pay taxes for transactions with the nation’s internet users, trying to plug gaps in a tax system still designed for brick-and-mortar business.”   Continue reading “Austria Found a Way to Tax Google Searches and Social Media Posts”

In anticipation of May Day, the international communist holiday, the New York Timespublished an opinion piece celebrating the American communists of the twentieth century, arguing that communism – an ideology that has killed 100 million people – gave Americans a “sense of one’s own humanity.”

The column, titled, “When Communism Inspired Americans,” lionizes communism as a religion with a “founding myth” that helped the “educated middle class” feel relevant in national politics. The author, Vivian Gornick, quotes her mother expressing gratitude for communists and crediting them with America’s thriving republic.   Continue reading “NYT Op-Ed: Communism Gave Americans ‘Sense of One’s Own Humanity’”

Sacramento leaders are poised to spend up to $300,000 to boost the city’s status as a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants, even as the federal government threatens to crack down on jurisdictions providing such immigrant protections.

The City Council will vote Thursday on a proposal to invest in an education and legal defense network for undocumented immigrants, with the money coming out of a general fund that supports most core city services. The plan under consideration would also strengthen Sacramento’s status as a sanctuary city by turning into law privacy policies that prohibit city employees – including police – from making inquiries into immigration status.   Continue reading “Sacramento may start paying for legal defense of undocumented immigrants”

School is no place for books, one Manhattan principal apparently believes.

In a scene out of “Fahrenheit 451,” administrators at Life Sciences Secondary School have ordered all textbooks rounded up and removed — calling them “antiquated,” sources say.

Principal Kim Swanson and Assistant Principal Derek Premo, who launched the ban, “really frown upon the use of books,” an insider told The Post.   Continue reading “This school is trashing all its textbooks”

After conducting a multi-center, phase-3, double-blind, placebo controlled, independently reviewed study, encompassing 39 countries, various undersea kingdoms, and the moon, I’ve concluded that the best reason parents shouldn’t home-school their children is:

They can’t.

They can’t, because the public education they received was so wan and thin and bereft of substance, they’re unfit to teach.

For those parents who did receive a decent education, and who can handle the schedule, home schooling is a rational decision.   Continue reading “The best reason not to home-school your children”

The Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Should we make homelessness against the law and simply throw all homeless people into prison so that we don’t have to deal with them?  Incredibly, this is actually starting to happen in dozens of major cities all across the United States.  It may be difficult to believe, but in many large urban areas today, if you are found guilty of “public camping” you can be taken directly to jail.  In some cities, activities such as “blocking a walkway” or creating any sort of “temporary structure for human habitation” are also considered to be serious crimes.  And there are some communities that have even made it illegal to feed the homeless without an official permit.  Unfortunately, as the U.S. economy continues to slow down the number of homeless people will continue to grow, and so this is a crisis that is only going to grow in size and scope.   Continue reading “It Is Becoming Illegal To Be Homeless In America As Houston, Dallas And Dozens Of Other Cities Pass Draconian Laws”

The Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office has instructed prosecutors to think twice before charging illegal immigrants with minor, non-violent crimes in response to stepped up immigration enforcement by the Trump administration.

Chief Deputy State’s Attorney Michael Schatzow, in a memo sent to all staff Thursday and obtained by The Baltimore Sun, wrote that the Justice Department’s deportation efforts “have increased the potential collateral consequences to certain immigrants of minor, non-violent criminal conduct.”   Continue reading “Baltimore prosecutors told to consider consequences for prosecuting illegal immigrants for minor crimes”

Taliban roots go back to CIA-recruited, armed and supported Mujahideen fighters against Afghanistan’s Soviet occupiers in the 1980s.

Like Alexis de Tocqueville nearly 200 years ago, I believe American society thrives when people act out of an enlightened regard for themselves that constantly prompts them to assist each other. I remain optimistic that our nation can unify around policies that promote a system of mutual benefit for people from all walks of life.

As President Trump nears 100 days in office, we are moving closer to that ideal in some respects, but not in others. But no president can — or should — be expected to solve every problem alone. To be successful, leaders in any field must listen to everyone, even those with whom they disagree.   Continue reading “Charles Koch: Trump’s policies must not benefit only big businesses like mine”

The myth that is overpopulation is already starting to unravel before our eyes, just as predicted years ago. The propaganda will only work on the masses for a few more years before the mathematical reality will render it impossible to believe anymore.

Birth rates have now officially declined below the necessary 2.1 replacement rate to maintain population in most every developed country in the world, with some Asian country birth rates now so low, their governments are actually attempting to pay the population to reproduce. China even relaxed its one child policy to two children. (They did the math.)   Continue reading “Bill Nye The Eugenics Guy Wants To Know: Should Parents Be Penalized For Having “Extra Kids”?”

Ronald Bernard is a Dutch entrepreneur whose drive and business contacts quickly catapulted him into the world of the financial elite. However, the deeper into this world Bernard went, the more horrifying it became. In a jaw-dropping interview with De Vrije Media, Bernard details this dark and depraved elite society which conducted human sacrifice and celebrated destruction.

To not sound like crazed tinfoil ranting kooks, we will admit that the things Bernard mentions in the interview below sound utterly insane and evil. In an effort to vet his credibility, however, the Free Thought Project did some background research on him, and it checks out. He is who he says he is.   Continue reading “Int’l Banker Blows Whistle, Admits He Was Ordered to Sacrifice Children at Parties for the Elite”
