A Cornell University study describes how scientists are using computer generated algorithms to decide if someone should be labeled felonious, completely ignoring the fact that using a computer model which mimics facial features cannot possibly be a legal means with which to label people either criminal or non-criminal. The much-discussed $221 million transfer to Palestine authorized by Barack Obama just hours before Trump was sworn into the presidency has already reached West Bank and Gaza, an advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has claimed.
“We have already received the last sum assigned by Obama’s administration. They have transferred this money,” Husam Zomlot, strategic affairs advisor to the Palestine president, told RIA Novosti in an interview on Thursday. Roughly eight years ago, Obama infamously first shared with “Joe the Plumber” his plans to “spread the wealth around.” Unfortunately, at least for the like-minded socialists of the country, as data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reveals, he failed miserably.
In fact, as Bloomberg points out today, not only did income inequality not decline under Obama’s reign, it actually surged to multi-decade highs with people in the 90th percentile of all earners bringing home over 5x the amount paid to people in the 10th percentile.

St. Paul, MN — On Monday, a St. Paul police officer was charged with misdemeanor assault after he punched a handcuffed child in the face twice while she was getting placed in the back of his squad car.
Officer Michael Soucheray II has been placed on administrative duty after punching the 14-year-old girl for allegedly spitting on him. The 14-year-old was at the East Side shelter for girls when police responded to a call of a suicidal girl. Minneapolis, MN — A Minneapolis police officer has been officially charged this week after he fired into a vehicle with six innocent people inside. Minneapolis police officer Efrem Hamilton was charged with second-degree assault and intentional discharge of a firearm.

The President today declared a major disaster exists in the State of Oregon and ordered federal aid to supplement State, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe winter storm and flooding during the period of December 14-17, 2016.
Federal funding is available to State, tribal, and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe winter storm and flooding in Josephine and Lane Counties. President Donald Trump may order a review that could lead to bringing back a CIA program for holding terrorism suspects in secret overseas “black site” prisons where interrogation techniques often condemned as torture were used, two U.S. officials said on Wednesday.

The crackdown has begun.
In a blog post by Scott Spencer, director of product management for sustainable ads, posted on Wednesday, Google said it has banned 200 publishers from accessing its Adsense advertising service for posting fake news stories. Google said it had cracked down on sites which contained 1) Ads for illegal products; 2) Misleading ads; 3) Bad ads on mobile; 4) Ads trying to game the system and, 5) Promoting and profiting from bad sites.
