As we celebrate the wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and all we have to be truly grateful for, one thing that takes center stage at Thanksgiving is food—glorious tasting food of all kinds, flavors and recipes.  However, today’s food is not what food was prior to the 1990s.  Food now contains genetically modified organisms which are harming the human gut, microbiome and immune system.

My Thanksgiving wish for all readers is that society everywhere can come to the realization that food really is medicine for the body, mind and even our spirit.  Eating wholesome, clean, non-GMO foods is the best thing we can do to maintain our children’s and our own health and wellbeing.   Continue reading “A Thanksgiving Wish”

Wildfires tore across central and northern Israel on Thursday, forcing tens of thousands of residents to flee the city of Haifa, as leaders blamed arsonists for some of the blazes and branded them terrorists.

Television pictures showed a wall of flames raging through central neighborhoods of Israel’s third largest city. Firefighters dowsed a petrol station with water as the blaze edged closer.

The fires have been burning in multiple locations for the past three days but intensified on Thursday, fueled by unseasonably dry weather and strong easterly winds.   Continue reading “Wildfires tear across Israel, Netanyahu calls arsonists ‘terrorists’”

Washington (AFP) – Hillary Clinton is now more than two million votes ahead of President-elect Donald Trump in the popular vote count for the US presidential elections, a tally compiled by the Cook Political Report showed Wednesday.

The Democratic candidate’s 1.5 percent lead in the popular vote makes no difference to the outcome of the November 8 election, which Trump won by taking a majority of electoral votes. Clinton conceded the following day.   Continue reading “Clinton leads Trump by over two million in popular vote”

Harris County, TX – Caught on video deploying a Taser against a mother in a wheelchair simply recording her daughter’s arrest, several deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are under an internal affairs investigation for needlessly attacking the disabled woman. Instead of treating her like a human being, the deputies can clearly be seen grabbing her cellphone and throwing it away before tasing the disabled woman until she collapsed out of her wheelchair.

Last Wednesday, 36-year-old Sheketha Holman arrived at a Valero gas station in northwest Houston after discovering her daughter was under arrest for marijuana possession and criminal mischief. A surveillance camera recorded Holman in her wheelchair as she filmed her daughter’s arrest with her cellphone camera.   Continue reading “Cops Taze Disabled Woman For Filming Daughter’s Arrest Until She Falls From Her Wheelchair”

Between the so-called ‘Hursti Hack’, questions over Soros-linked voting machines, some peculiarities in Texas, and the media furore over Trump’s democracy-threatening questioning of the election outcome; it is perhaps ironic that, after being soundly beaten across the vast majority of counties in America, NY Mag reports, a group of prominent computer scientists and election lawyers are urging the Clinton campaign to call for a recount in three swing states won by Donald Trump after allegedly finding “persuasive evidence” of vote hacking.   Continue reading “Scientists Find “Persuasive Evidence” Of Vote Hacking, Demand Clinton Recount In 3 States”

This is a recipe handed down to me by my mom. It’s been in my family since I was a kid (back when dirt was new). NEW YORK (AP) — Poor communication among police, private security and other personnel contributed to a mass panic that erupted at a New York City airport when loud cheers for Usain Bolt somehow led to a false report of gunshots, according to a review by a team of top security officials.

Passengers at Kennedy Airport ran for the exits on Aug. 14 after cheering at a terminal bar during the Olympics was mistaken for something sinister. Panic spread to two other terminals when news of a gunman spread on social media, and police responded by drawing their weapons.   Continue reading “Review of airport panic: Bolt spurred it, cops made it worse”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a fine to the Denver Sheriff Department after a federal investigation found it incorrectly listed being a US citizen as a job requirement during a major hiring spree.

From January to March 2015, the police department, which is the largest sheriff department in Colorado, went on a recruitment drive, hiring more than 200 deputies to the team, but only US citizens were able to apply, which the DOJ ruled as unlawful.   Continue reading “Sheriff department’s refusal to hire non-citizens results in fine by US govt”

Sanctuary cities and other jurisdictions will now have to choose between protecting illegal aliens and receiving federal law enforcement grants thanks to the work of a Texas congressman.

Texas Representative John Culberson (R-TX) used his position as chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, and Science and the congressional power of the purse to force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to enforce existing law requiring state and local law enforcement agencies to cooperate with immigration officials. Culberson announced in February an agreement with outgoing Attorney General Loretta Lynch to block federal law enforcement grants to jurisdictions with sanctuary policies, Breitbart Texas reported. Since that time, the Texas congressman has been working with DOJ officials to certify the top-ten jurisdictions not in compliance with the law.   Continue reading “Sanctuary Cities Risk Losing DOJ Funds in 2017, Texas Congressman Says”

Thousands of green cards are missing because U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officials apparently sent them to the wrong addresses, jeopardizing national security, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General (IG) report made public Monday.

“It appears that thousands of green cards have simply gone missing,” DHS Inspector General John Roth said in a news release. “In the wrong hands, green cards may enable terrorists, criminals, and undocumented aliens to remain in the United States. It is vital that USCIS ensure better tools and procedures are in place to mitigate such risks.”   Continue reading “THOUSANDS Of Immigration Green Cards Have Disappeared”

In the two weeks since Donald Trump’s stunning victory over Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, hundreds of acts of harassment and intimidation aimed at supporters of both candidates have been reported around the country. In response, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo created a special police unit to address the “explosion” of hate crimes in the state.

“The ugly political discourse of the election did not end on Election Day,” Cuomo said on Sunday at a church in Harlem. “In many ways, it has gotten worse.”   Continue reading “N.Y. governor creates special police unit to address ‘explosion of hate crimes’ since the election”

Both Russia and the United States are rejecting war crimes allegations from the International Criminal Court.

The International Criminal Court is losing support from super powers Russia and the United States, as well as smaller nations like the Philippines. Last week Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte spoke out against the court, calling it “useless”. The ICC recently stated that they may have jurisdiction to prosecute those who carry out killings as part of the Philippines’ drug war. President Duterte has encouraged the killing of drug dealers, leading to more than 2,400 deaths. Duterte dismissed the court and said it was losing influence.   Continue reading “U.S., Russia Reject Possibility Of War Crimes Investigations”

Donations to the Clinton Foundation tanked in 2015 amid allegations that Hillary Clinton used the billion-dollar charity to siphon seven-figure donations from foreign governments and corporations, who received favorable government actions while Clinton was Secretary of State.

In the background of modern life, as people go on debating politics and working for a living, something dreadful is happening to the eco-systems which support us. Major disasters like the ongoing radioactive leak at Fukushima, the apocalyptic fires burning throughout Indonesia, even bee colony collapse disorder, seem to fall out of view in day-to-day life, as we seem to have lost our power and will to directly participate in the stewardship of planet earth.   Continue reading “Not Just Bees, Trees Are Dying Off at an Alarming Rate With Little Public Attention”

While establishment Democrats trumpet all sorts of excuses for Hillary’s loss, few are willing to admit that she represented the alliance of bureaucratic corruption and corporate greed people are sick of.

There is no solace in the prospect of Donald Trump using big government to carry out his “law and order” pledge – ramping up domestic surveillance, increasing the militarization of police, undoing modest efforts at reducing prison populations, and possibly even cracking down on legal cannabis.   Continue reading “Google Is Funding a “Ministry of Truth” With Corporate Media Outlets Known for Deadly Deception”
