Aberdeen, WA — Surveillance video of a deadly police shooting in Aberdeen this week is going viral on Facebook after it began to raise some serious questions about the official police story. Now, Aberdeen police are doing damage control in an attempt to justify it.

According to reports, the shooting happened Monday around noon as police attempted to arrest Kristopher Fitzpatrick, 41, for the victimless crime of alleged drug possession. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – California lawmakers on Wednesday passed a statewide cap on annual rent increases for most tenants, the boldest step yet to address an affordable housing crunch that has helped push people into the streets.

The bill limits annual rent increases to 5% after inflation and takes effect from March of this year. Lexington, KY — It is no secret that the lack of training in many police departments leads to police officers firing their weapons when they should not be doing so. It is also no secret that these shots will often end up in the bodies of children and innocent individuals as well. Indeed, hundreds of people are shot and left permanently disabled or even killed every year by improperly trained police officers. As the following story illustrates, in some instances, this lack of training is so overt that even cops aren’t safe from it. A dozen leaders of a California-based ministry have been indicted by a federal grand jury, accused of forced labor of mostly homeless people, a US attorney said.

#1 on the list appears to be Los Angeles’s infamous “skid row,” where vagrants will be moved into government-backed facilities. Chesterfield Township, MI — Jonathan Vanderhagen, 35, was a caring father who watched the system take his son from him and place in in harm’s way. Despite his repeated protests, Vanderhagen says his son Killian died as a result of this system’s action. After he said the court’s decision to place Killian in the custody of his mother led to the child’s death, Vanderhagen took to social media to peacefully voice his opinion about what happened.
