Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

Several weeks ago we reported that in response to ongoing alienation of Russia by the west Putin was aggressively setting the stage for Russia’s eastward expansion, set to culminate with a “holy grail” gas deal with China. We said that “while Europe is furiously scrambling to find alternative sources of energy should Gazprom pull the plug on natgas exports to Germany and Europe (the imminent surge in Ukraine gas prices by 40% is probably the best indication of what the outcome would be), Russia is preparing the announcement of the “Holy Grail” energy deal with none other than China, a move which would send geopolitical shockwaves around the world and bind the two nations in a commodity-backed axis.”   Continue reading “Russia And China About To Sign “Holy Grail” Gas Deal”

DENVER (CN) – A gun control expert and proponent of background checks had a tough time defending his case in Colorado’s gun control trial.

Monday was day six in the federal trial brought by 31 Colorado pro-gun groups and people who claim that three bills regulating gun use in Colorado are unconstitutional.

The defense called Daniel Webster of the John Hopkins Center for Gun Control to the stand Monday. Webster is famous for his study on how the repeal of gun control laws in Missouri in 2007 affected homicides and the crime rate. The study has been cited by media outlets such as PBS and the BBC to show why gun control might work.   Continue reading “Gun Control Expert Challenged in Court”

At every opportunity, UN agencies ... as well as NGO’s, are incessantly scheming, manipulating and deceiving, trying to impose the Illuminati’s heterophobic sexual policies world-wide.

With disasters around the world– wars, earthquakes, epidemics, famines– one would assume that the UN had its hands full. Instead, the UN gives priority to promoting abortion, homosexuality and birth control.   Continue reading “UN Peddles Illuminati’s Heterophobic Plot”

The U.S. Navy is planning sea trials for a weapon that can fire a low-cost, 23-pound (10-kg) projectile at seven times the speed of sound using electromagnetic energy, a “Star Wars” technology that will make enemies think twice, the Navy’s research chief said.

Rear Admiral Matthew Klunder, the chief of Naval Research, told a round table group recently the futuristic electromagnetic rail gun had already undergone extensive testing on land and would be mounted on the USNS Millinocket, a high-speed vessel, for sea trials beginning in 2016.   Continue reading “U.S. Navy to test futuristic, super-fast gun at sea in 2016”

It’s a simple theory: More guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are more likely to prevent criminal negligence. This isn’t just the conjecture of right-wing extremists as the Left would have you believe; rather, it has strong statistical support in study after study.

You can now add another analysis to that mix – according to economist Mark Gius, more guns still equal less crime.   Continue reading “Concealed Carry and Murder Rates”

The thinly-veiled totalitarian bent of the unhinged left has reared its ugly head once again with a demented rant by Gawker’s Adam Weinstein which calls for thought criminals who question man-made global warming to be arrested and thrown in prison.

“We have laws on the books to punish anyone whose lies contribute to people’s deaths. It’s time to punish the climate-change liars,” blathers Weinstein, before claiming that man-made climate change kills 150,000 people a year.   Continue reading “Liberal Fascist Calls For Global Warming Skeptics to be Arrested”

The Senate approved a five-month extension of long-term unemployment benefits Monday, and though there is some pressure in the House from moderate Republicans hailing from high unemployment states to do the same, reports indicate that the House will not cave:

Ron Bonjean, a Republican strategist, said Democrats may be able to get more Republicans onboard by attaching job-creation measures to the bill. Some Republican senators introduced amendments they said would create jobs, such as approving the Keystone XL pipeline, but Mr. Reid blocked all amendments.   Continue reading “House Won’t Be Bullied into Extending Unemployment Benefits”

In a recent discussion on gun violence prevention programs, Attorney General Eric Holder told the House appropriations committee that the Department of Justice is considering smart gun tracking technologies, specifically:

“…so that we can make sure people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights while at the same time, decreasing the uh misuse of, um, of weapons that lead to, uh, the kinds of things we see on a daily basis you know where people, kids especially, um are struck down…”   Continue reading “Holder: DOJ Gun Control Efforts May Include “Gun Tracking Bracelets””

Over the weekend the world was gripped by the drama surrounding the mysterious murder-homicide of the former CEO of Dutch bank ABN Amro and members of his family, and whether there is more foul play than meets the eye. However, that is nothing compared to what just happened in the tiny, and all too quiet Principality of Lichtenstein, where moments ago the CEO of local financial institution Bank Frick & Co. AG, Juergen Frick, was shot dead in the underground garage of the bank located in the city of Balzers.   Continue reading “Another Dead Banker: CEO Of Liechtenstein Bank Frick Murdered In Broad Daylight”

Social media spying NSAHang the Bankers – by Clark Kent

American and British intelligence hope to take advantage of social media platforms, like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, in an effort to spread disinformation and propaganda, as well as potentially foment public protests, recent Snowden leaks claim.

According to Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who first broke the news on the Snowden NSA leaks, an Orwellian-style dystopia is lurking on the horizon as western spy agencies see an opportunity for manipulating public opinion and disseminating state propaganda by exploiting global internet giants, such as Flickr, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.   Continue reading “US and UK intelligence planning to infiltrate social media to spread propaganda and disinformation”
