Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) late Saturday an agreement to curb Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for limited sanctions would likely allow Tehran to obtain nuclear weapons capability.

“This agreement will not ‘freeze’ Iran’s nuclear program and won’t require the regime to suspend all enrichment as required by multiple UN Security Council resolutions,” the Florida Republican said in a statement. “By allowing the Iranian regime to retain a sizable nuclear infrastructure, this agreement makes a nuclear Iran more likely. NEWTOWN — With the release of the state’s attorney’s report on the mass shootings at the Sandy Hook Elementary School scheduled for Monday, extra police will be posted at all seven of Newtown’s schools, including the temporary Sandy Hook School location in Monroe.

Interim Schools Superintendent John Reed sent parents an email Friday notifying them of theNewtown Police Department‘s decision to provide the extra patrols. Four people are dead following a shooting at a residence in the US state of Oklahoma.

Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma said Sunday that a shooting involving multiple victims was reported about 7 p.m. Saturday local time.
