Sources tell FTVLive that CNN Boss Jeff Zucker is “actively looking for a replacement for Piers Morgan.”
Morgan signed a one year extension to his contract and as time winds down, Zucker is looking for someone to takeover his time slot.
Word is that Zucker really wants Katie Couric in that slot. Couric should be available soon as many expect this is the last year her talk show “Katie” will be on the air. Continue reading “CNN to Drop Piers Morgan”
Late Monday night, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson denied a Department of Justice request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the House Oversight Committee last summer over Operation Fast and Furious documents.
“In the Court’s view endorsing the proposition that the executive may assert an unreviewable right to withhold materials from the legislature would offend the Constitution more than undertaking to resolve the specific dispute that has been presented here,” Jackson wrote in her ruling. “Neither legal nor prudential considerations support the dismissal of this action, the defendant’s motion to dismiss the action will be denied.” Continue reading “Judge Slaps Down Eric Holder’s Request For Fast and Furious Lawsuit to be Dismissed”

A train that was not in service hit a full one while it was waiting in a Forest Park CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) station. WASHINGTON: In a rare move, the top Marine on Monday forced two generals into retirement after concluding they should be held to account for failing to secure a base in Afghanistan on which two Marines were killed by Taliban attackers a year ago.
Gen. James Amos, the commandant of the Marine Corps, said in announcing his decision that Maj. Gen. Charles M. Gurganus and Maj. Gen. Gregg A. Sturdevant “did not take adequate force protection measures” at Camp Bastion, an airfield in southwestern Afghanistan that was the Taliban target. A sixth-grader has been suspended for drawing an inappropriate picture. The drawing did not include any gun, but showed a checkpoint backed up by a SWAT team carrying flower pots while an unarmed drone hovered above.
If you recall, Senator Joe Machin (D-WV) aligned himself with Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) earlier this year to push some of the most sweeping gun control legislation the United States has ever seen. Thankfully, they were defeated. However, now a video has surfaced in which Senator Manchin admits he takes money from Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Even more disturbing than Manchin being greased by Bloomberg (no pun intended), is the fact that Manchin claims the US Constitution can be changed through legislation! Continue reading “Sen. Joe Manchin Admits Taking Money from Anti-Gun Mayor Michael Bloomberg”
FORT HOOD, Texas A military jury on Wednesday sentenced Maj. Nidal Hasan to death for the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, handing the Army psychiatrist the ultimate punishment after a trial in which he seemed to be courting martyrdom by making almost no effort to defend himself.
The rare military death sentence came nearly four years after the attack that stunned even an Army hardened by more than a decade of constant war. Hasan walked into a medical building where soldiers were getting medical checkups, shouted “Allahu akbar” _ Arabic for “God is great!” _ and opened fire with a laser-sighted handgun. Thirteen people were killed. Continue reading “Hasan Sentenced to Death for Fort Hood Shooting”

The first Autumn storm swept across Scotland yesterday, and residentsexperienced all four seasons in one day, bringing chaos to the winding roads.
Torrential rain, along with gale-force winds, turned into sunny periods, before the wet weather came back. The Cairngorms were hit by 100 mph gusts, with snow anticipated last night, and the Forth Road Bridge was closed to some vehicles after wind speeds of 69 mph were recorded.
The weather for windsurfers and kitesurfers competing at the Scottish Windfest at Barassie Beach in Troon, however, was perfect. Last night, a blanket “yellow warning” was issued that forecast blustery winds continuing on into today. Continue reading “Jet stream blamed for bad weather. HAARP suspected.”
Name: Mae Brussells. Known to have frequented one or more basements, frequently used pajamas, no current Bain Capital paystub – conclusion: Dianne Feinstein Non-Journalist, aka “not a real journalist”. Seriously, Mae Brussell’s (deceased as are those below) was never a FoxNews/CNN/MSNBC sycophant-type journalist. Mae Brussell’s budget was a house wives budget, but her intelligence on domestic and world affairs was so good most of the Washington, DC beltway read her reports and radio broadcasts. Feinstein and Washington’s notion of defining journalists in a manner that excludes nearly everyone is “Congress making a ‘law’ that abridges Freedom of the Press”.
