This very long post is in response to Tex, a reader who requested information regarding the camouflage clothing and equipment being utilized by the characters in “The Patrol”. His questions, as well as those submitted by others, are one of the reasons why I decided tackle the project. I wanted to provoke questions and debate as well as put out information that covers: BASIC tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), equipment that we have used/are using, and some unusual skill sets all wrapped up in a (mildly entertaining, I hope) story. Time will tell.
I occasionally hear the statement “Camouflage is something you do when you get there.” And while that statement has some merit, my question is: “What do you do until you get there?”. HICKORY, N.C. – State legislators for Catawba County want the federal government to keep their hands off North Carolina residents’ guns.
State Reps. Jay Adams (R-District 96) and Mitchell Setzer (R-District 89) are the primary sponsors behind House Bill 886 (HB886), the Second Amendment Preservation Act.
The bill prevents any enforcement of a federal law that “infringes on a law-abiding citizen’s right to keep and bear arms.”

Dr. Oz should be given a Congressional medal of some kind for his willingness to expose the truth about glyphosate on national television. In a recent episode that went viral, Dr. Oz discussed the toxicity of the biotech industry’s favorite pesticide “glyphosate” — a dangerous chemical that even the World Health Organization now admits likely causes cancer.
In response to this episode, the so-called “Monsanto Mafia” went berserk with all their usual character assassination tactics, and now they’ve come up with a contrived plot — a campaign of intimidation and character smearing — to try to silence Dr. Oz by destroying his credibility.
