An 11-year veteran of the Denver police department received a 30 day vacation for brutally shoving an innocent man down a flight of stairs. Officer Choice Johnson was only “disciplined” after surveillance video showed that his report on the incident was completely fabricated. The incident started during a bachelor party for the brother of Brandon Schreiber. Schreiber’s brother had a bit too much to drink and had fallen asleep at the bar. For this “crime,” Officer Johnson was arresting him.

How do we classify Mississippi now?  In Mississippi, you do not need a license to carry a handgun openly.   Under very liberal restrictions, you will not need a license to carry a handgun concealed.  The new law goes into effect on 1 July, 2015, in two and a half months.  From the NRA-ILA:

Late Thursday, Governor Phil Bryant (R) signed Senate Bill 2394, a bill prioritized for passage by Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and sponsored by Sen. Terry Burton (R), and Senate Bill 2619, sponsored by Sen. Haskins Montgomery (D), into law.  These two measures make critical pro-Second Amendment reforms, including a clarification that a state-issued permit is not necessary to transport a loaded or unloaded pistol or revolver in a purse, handbag, satchel, other similar bag or briefcase or fully enclosed case.

COLORADO SPRINGS: We’ve known for some time that China conducted an anti-satellite test July 23 last year, but we learned today that that test was “successful” even if it didn’t destroy anything.

China has successfully placed low earth orbit satellites at risk, Air Force Lt. Gen. Jay Raymond told an overflow audience at the annual Warfighters Lunch at the Space Symposium here. “Soon every satellite in every orbit will be able to be held at risk,” the head of the 14th Air Force said.   Continue reading “Chinese ASAT Test Was ‘Successful:’ Lt. Islamic State White HouseThe Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

ISIS camps have now been discovered directly across the U.S. border with Mexico, ISIS operatives have been captured illegally entering the United States, and ISIS is threatening to conduct a massive campaign of terror against U.S. targets, and yet Barack Obama and his underlings continue to insist that “right-wing extremists” are the greatest terror threat that this nation is facing.  One recent survey found that 84 percent of all Americans believe that ISIS is a “direct threat to the USA”, but Obama refuses to secure our borders and he is even allowing dozens of American citizens that fought for ISIS overseas to come back into this country.  What in the world is Obama thinking?  Even though ISIS has promised to drown all of us in our own blood, the Obama administration has purged virtually all references to Islam out of government terror training materials.  Meanwhile, as you will see below, Obama’s political enemies have been regularly labeled as “potential terrorists” in official government documents during the Obama era.  This includes “patriots”, “conspiracy theorists”, “evangelical Christians” and “general right-wing extremists”.   Continue reading “ISIS Has Camps On The U.S. Border, But Obama Says ‘Right-Wing Extremists’ Are The Greatest Terror Threat”

  1. The Post Office

Get ready to imagine a world without the post office. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive. Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.   Continue reading “Ten Things That Will Disappear In Our Lifetime”

Refugee Resettlement Watch – by Ann Cocoran

According to regulations promulgated under the Refugee Act of 1980, every state resettling refugees must submit a plan to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (at HHS) and keep it current.  That means every state, but Wyoming (so far).

I would like everyone concerned about the Refugee Resettlement Program to contact your state coordinator today and ask for your state’s plan.

This summer the U.S. government will begin an unprecedented joint military exercise involving several states and tens of thousands of participants ranging from special operations groups to volunteer citizens.

The official purpose of the exercise, dubbed Operation Jade Helm 15, according to the military is to prepare American soldiers and special operations teams for emerging foreign threats. But investigations by independent media outlets suggest it is much more than a standard “training exercise.”   Continue reading “Feds Seek Role Players For Simulating Forced Detention & Relocation of Americans”

A New York college was on lockdown Monday after threats of a bomb and shooter on campus, according to school officials.

Hamilton College, in the town of Clinton in upstate New York, was first locked down at 11:21 a.m. ET and about two hours later, the South Campus was evacuated after a suspicious package was found. The package was investigated and wasn’t found to be a threat, according to the school.

But students and staff at the school were told to continue to shelter in place at 3:15 p.m. as police swept the Kirner-Johnson building, a large building on the northern part of the campus where the threats were first reported, according to the school.   Continue reading “New York’s Hamilton College on Lockdown After Bomb, Shooter Threat”

When developers wanted to build a shopping mall over Edith Macefield’s house, she refused. What resulted from her anti-corporate stance is beyond inspiring.

A home is more than just a house. It’s a place where memories and remembered experiences cling to the walls, where laughter and grievances are kindly held in forlorn thought, and a sanctuary of sorts that mirrors its owner and the unique life they’ve lived.   Continue reading “They Offered Her A Million Dollars To Move, But This 84-year-old Refused… What Resulted Is Brilliant.”

The hits just keep on coming. Less than an hour ago, I highlighted the latest case of an unarmed U.S. civilian killed unnecessarily by police in Oklahoma. In that incident, the cop claims to have mistakenly pulled out his gun instead of a taser (see: Another Police Killing Caught on Tape – Oklahoma Cop Shoots and Kills Unarmed Man in Tulsa).

Well it turns out another extremely disturbing video showcasing the recent epidemic of “death by civilian encounter with police” has surfaced. This time it’s a Vineland, New Jersey man. We see how Philip G. White is already pinned to the ground and repeatedly pounded on by a police officer, when he is then subjected to a sustained violent attack by a police dog. The man died in custody.   Continue reading “Video of the Day – New Jersey Man Dies After Police Dog Violently Attacks Him While He’s Pinned Down on the Ground”
