Treasury Secretary Jacob LewCNS News – by Terence P. Jeffrey

The Daily Treasury Statement that was released Wednesday afternoon as Americans were preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving revealed that the U.S. Treasury has been forced to issue $1,040,965,000,000 in new debt since fiscal 2015 started just eight weeks ago in order to raise the money to pay off Treasury securities that were maturing and to cover new deficit spending by the government.

During those eight weeks, Treasury took in $341,591,000,000 in revenues. That was a record for the period between Oct. 1 and Nov. 25. But that record $341,591,000,000 in revenues was not enough to finance ongoing government spending let alone pay off old debt that matured.   Continue reading “Ponzi: Treasury Issues $1T in New Debt in 8 Weeks—To Pay Old Debt”

CX-1 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile at the Zhuhai Airshow in China.Defense News – by WENDELL MINNICK

TAIPEI — China’s new CX-1 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile is ready for export to America’s friends and foes alike, with potential markets including Iran, Pakistan and African and South American countries.

On display at the recent Airshow China in Zhuhai, the missile resembles India’s BrahMos cruise missile with a large intake in the nose, referred to as the “axial symmetrical inlet” in the brochure. However, that appears to be the only similarity, according to Chinese-language media outlets, which mention differences in wing, guidance vanes and jet vanes of the two missiles.   Continue reading “China’s CX-1 Missile Now Exportable”

Grad rockets fired indiscriminately into populated areas by Kiev regime – a war crime NATO has condemned before, but only when politically convenient.

“The Grad rocket cannot be targeted, so shooting it into a town full of civilians, with no specific military objective, violates the laws of war.” These words were found in a 2011 Human Rights Watch (HRW) document titled, “Libya: Rocket Attacks on Western Mountain Towns – Grads Striking Civilian Areas,” one of many reports ceaselessly cited by the United Nations and in turn, NATO as part of justifying a military intervention in the North African nation.   Continue reading “Human Rights Ignored Amid NATO’s War in Ukraine”

Retail Apocalypse - Photo by Justin CozartThe Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Retail sales during the four day Thanksgiving weekend were down a whopping 11 percent from last year.  This is a “make or break” time of the year for many retailers, and if things don’t turn around during the coming weeks we could see a tsunami of store closings in January and February.  As you read this article, there is already more than a billion square feet of retail space sitting empty in the United States.  Many have described the ongoing collapse of the retail industry as an “apocalypse”, and this apocalypse appears to be accelerating.  Yes, the shift to online retailers is a significant factor, but as you will see below even online retailers struggled over the holiday weekend.  The sad truth of the matter is that U.S. consumers are tapped out and are drowning in debt at this point, so they simply do not have as much money to spend as they once did.   Continue reading “The Retail Apocalypse Accelerates: Collapsing Holiday Sales Are A Signal That A Recession Is Coming”

Over the weekend we wrote of the heart-warming story of irregular militias coming together to provide private security for Ferguson businesses that survived the first night of arson and looting that followed the grand jury’s decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson for shooting robbery suspect Michael Brown in self-defense.

The St. Louis County Police have now incredibly threatened these volunteers with arrest for keeping the city safe:

Equipped with militia-style clothing and firearms, the Oath Keepers had been offering free security for businesses at risk of looting and arson in Ferguson. Continue reading “Government Threatens Police Academy Instructor, Other Volunteers With Arrest For Protecting Ferguson Businesses”
