In recent weeks, the coronavirus pandemic has dominated the news at the expense of everything else that is critical and urgent in our lives. As panic increases and more cases are reported daily, health-minded people are eager or even desperate to know whether there are ways to strengthen the body’s immune system to offer some protection from this specific upper respiratory infection.

Need to Know

Authorities from six Bay Area counties, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties with a combined population of 6.7-million people, announced a “shelter in place” order for all residents. The order is the strictest measure of its kind in the country, directing people to stay inside their homes and away from others for the next three weeks. Residents may only leave their homes to shop for food/supplies, to access health care, or to provide aide to those in need. President Trump predicts that the coronavirus will be a threat through July or August. The Rockefeller Foundation published a report in May 2010 in cooperation with the Global Business Network of futurologist Peter Schwartz. It was called Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development. The first scenario, titled, “Lock Step”, describes a world of total government control and authoritarian leadership. It envisions a future where a pandemic would allow national leaders to flex their authority and impose airtight rules and restrictions that would remain after the pandemic faded. The Center for Disease Control admitted in a federal lawsuit that is has no scientific studies to support its claim that vaccines given to infants don’t cause autism.

Not a surprise given the news yesterday that one person there has died of the disease and two more, a teenager and a woman in her 50s, are presumptive positives.
