A Saudi Arabian man injured by one of the two bombs that detonated at last year’s Boston Marathon is suing conservative commentator Glenn Beck in federal court for defamation.

Abdulrahman Alharbi, then 20, was among the hundreds hurt during last April’s footrace in the metropolitan Massachusetts city after a pair of homemade pressure cooker bombs exploded near the finish line, killing three. Now nearly a year later, attorneys for the man have filed suit against Beck in response to erroneous on-air remarks he made repeatedly about their client in the aftermath.   Continue reading “Boston Marathon bombing victim sues Glenn Beck”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

The clearly agitated BATS CEO came out swinging, blasting Katsuyama and Lewis “Shame On You,” for apparently telling the truth of what occurs in the stock ‘market and letting everyone in on it’. The tension grows when he presses Katsuyama on whether he really believes it is rigged… who then erupts “I believe the markets are rigged.. and that you are a part of the rigging.” Then the gloves come off “you wanna do this, let’s do this!” and then it got worse (or better)…   Continue reading “Watch As HFT Debate Devolves Into Epic Screamfest In Milliseconds”

A record breaking stock market is distorting a frightening reality: The U.S. is being eaten alive by a horrific cancer that will ultimately destroy the economy and impoverish the vast majority of its citizens.

That’s according to Peter Schiff, the best-selling author and CEO of Euro Pacific Capital, who delivered his harsh warning to investors in a recent interview on Fox Business.   Continue reading “Schiff: 2/3 of America to Lose Everything Because of This Crisis”

Susan Lindauer used to be Senator Ron Wyden’s press secretary. She worked as a back channel representing the CIA and the DIA from 1995 to 2003 with Libya and Iraq before being arrested under the Patriot Act. I have written down her salient points from the video below with my comments in in parentheses. Her video is a little too long for most people to appreciate.

911 put the military establishment in charge of our country. (Not exactly. The military and NSA work for the bankers who have run America since 1913.)   Continue reading “Susan Lindauer On Advanced Knowledge of 911”

Does Obama realize that he is leading the US and its puppet states to war with Russia and China, or is Obama being manipulated into this disaster by his neoconservative speech writers and government officials? World War 1 (and World War 2) was the result of the ambitions and mistakes of a very small number of people. Only one head of state was actually involved–the President of France.   Continue reading “Pushing Toward The Final War”

When US President Barack Obama embarked on his European tour this week there was the usual sycophantic Western media image of the American leader as a benefactor. Obama, so the story went, was coming to unite and support Europe in the face of Russian aggression in Ukraine.

With tiresome florid speechifying, Obama claimed that the US and Europe have together historically built up institutions of international law and democracy and that the “allies” would now stand together against Russian “brute behavior” just as they had done during the Cold War against the Soviet Union.    Continue reading “US sets Europe and Russia at war”

Entrevista a Raúl CapoteNews of the Restless – by Sabina Becker

Who is this man, and why does the CIA fear him? Because they thought he was one of theirs, and it turns out he’s quite the opposite. And now he’s spilling the beans on them. Read on:

Raúl Capote is a Cuban. But not just any Cuban. In his youth, he was caught up by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). They offered him an infinite amount of money to conspire in Cuba. But then something unexpected for the US happened. Capote, in reality, was working for Cuban national security. From then on, he served as a double agent. Learn his story, by way of an exclusive interview with Chávez Vive, which he gave in Havana:   Continue reading “Ex-CIA agent reveals how Venezuelan “students” get putschist training”

Victoria Nuland Geoffrey PyattReader Supported News – by Steve Weissman

If the US State Department’s Victoria Nuland had not said “F#@k the EU,” few outsiders at the time would have heard of Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, the man on the other end of her famously bugged telephone call. But now Washington’s man in Kiev is gaining fame as the face of the CIA-style “destabilization campaign” that brought down Ukraine’s monumentally corrupt but legitimately elected President Viktor Yanukovych.

“Geoffrey Pyatt is one of these State Department high officials who does what he’s told and fancies himself as a kind of a CIA operator,” laughs Ray McGovern, who worked for 27 years as an intelligence analyst for the agency. “It used to be the CIA doing these things,” he tells Democracy Now. “I know that for a fact.” Now it’s the State Department, with its coat-and-tie diplomats, twitter and facebook accounts, and a trick bag of goodies to build support for American policy.   Continue reading “Meet the Americans Who Put Together the Coup in Kiev”

A lot of home builders and painters will know what trisodium phosphate (TSP) is. But a lot of them don’t know that they eat it for breakfast!

Even though it appears right on the ingredients label, a lot of people don’t realize it’s an industrial cleaning agent. It gets worse (see below video), the government doesn’t even want you to clean with it because it’s considered bad for the environment. It’s an okay part of a complete breakfast though!   Continue reading “Paint Thinner in Children’s Cereal Exposed”

“Danny” Who What Why – by Russ Baker

An exclusive WhoWhatWhy investigation has found serious factual inconsistencies in accounts provided by the only witness to the alleged confession of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.

Why does this matter? Because this witness is the sole source for the entire publicly accepted narrative of who was behind the bombing and its aftermath—and why these events occurred.    Continue reading “Boston Bomber Carjacking Unravels. Part 1 of 2”

In part I, we reported significant discrepancies in the story of the key witness in the Boston Marathon bombing-MIT police officer killing. These discrepancies cast doubt on his credibility—and therefore on the entire public narrative around those events.

We have been told that the witness was carjacked by the brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and that Tamerlan confessed to him their guilt in both crimes.    Continue reading “Something Dead Wrong Here: Investigating the Mysterious and Central Character, “Danny.” Part 2 of 2”

The Intercept – by Glenn Greenwald

Several members of the august “US Journalists Against Transparency” club are outraged by revelations in yesterday’s New York Times (jointly published by der Spiegel) that the NSA has been hacking the products of the Chinese tech company Huawei as well as Huawei itself at exactly the same time (and in exactly the same way) as the US Government has been claiming the Chinese government hacks. Echoing the script of national security state officials, these journalists argue that these revelations are unjustified, even treasonous, because this is the type of spying the NSA should be doing, and disclosure serves no public interest while harming American national security, etc. etc.   Continue reading “Some Facts About How NSA Stories Are Reported”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

If it was the intent of the West to bring Russia and China together – one a natural resource (if “somewhat” corrupt) superpower and the other a fixed capital / labor output (if “somewhat” capital misallocating and credit bubbleicious) powerhouse – in the process marginalizing the dollar and encouraging Ruble and Renminbi bilateral trade, then things are surely “going according to plan.”   Continue reading “Petrodollar Alert: Putin Prepares To Announce “Holy Grail” Gas Deal With China”

Unknown vandals have painted red graffiti, with anti-religious “Neither God, nor master, nor state” and rebellious “Down with the authorities” slogans on the doors of the 19th-century Sacré-Coeur basilica atop Montmartre in Paris, France.

The marble entrance of the one of the world’s most famous attractions has also been tagged in red and black paint, saying “F*** tourism” and “Set fire to chapels.”   Continue reading “‘F**k tourism’: Vandals deface Paris’ Sacré Coeur basilica”
