The third wave of mobilization is launched in Ukraine to compensate for losses suffered in Donbass. It hits big bumps on the way.  Nobody wants to be cannon fodder for the ruling regime to add to the death toll of thousands.  People run away from different regions of the country, even the ones situated far from the conflict zone, to find refuge in Russia. Many of them are male citizens of the right age to be called for military service.

The situation in the western part of Ukraine, especially the Transcarpathian region, has become explosive with people’s discontent getting ripe. Here is the advertisement placed in the NY newspapers by the Germans warning people not to sail on the Lusitania. In the face of truth, the government and the press willingly transformed that incident into German aggression that was inhuman, The US was violating its neutral position sending arms to Britain using passengers as cover.

In order to justify war, the number one ploy is to always transform yourself into a victim and the target into the aggressor. This is the common theme to begin every war. If there were any doubts that Western “leaders” live in a fantasy make-believe world constructed out of their own lies, the G-7 meeting and 70th anniversary celebration  of the Normandy landing dispelled the doubts.

The Russian military detected a Ukrainian SU-25 fighter jet gaining height towards the MH17 Boeing on the day of the catastrophe. Kiev must explain why the military jet was tracking the passenger airplane, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

NATO held an exercise code named «BREEZE 2014» that ended in Black Sea. The exercise, which included the use of electronic warfare and electronic intelligence aircraft such as the Boeing EA-18G Growler and the Boeing E3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), coincided with the shootdown of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 in eastern Ukraine, some 40 miles from the Russian border.

June 25, 2014. A final number for real US GDP growth in the first quarter of 2014 was released today. The number is not the 2.6% growth rate predicted by the know-nothing economists in January of this year. The number is a decline in GDP of -2.9 percent.

The negative growth rate of -2.9 percent is itself an understatement. This number was achieved by deflating nominal GDP with an understated measure of inflation. During the Clinton regime, the Boskin Commission rigged the inflation measure in order to cheat Social Security recipients out of their cost-of-living adjustments. In the present confrontation between Russia and the West over the Ukrainian crisis, the image of the Cold War inevitably comes to mind and the media are obviously fond of it. However, contrary to what it gives us to understand, it’s not Russia that seeks the return of an iron curtain but really the US. An iron curtain separating the old powers and emerging nations; the world before and the world afterwards; debtors and creditors. And this in the crazy hope of preserving the American way of life and the US’ influence over “its” camp in the absence of being able to impose it on the whole world. In other words, go down with as many companions as possible to give the impression of not sinking.
