Betty Boop 1932 A Hunting We Will Go cartoons

Created by Max Fleischer and Grim Natwick in the 1930’s, Betty Boop is one of the most famous cartoon characters to ever grace our screens. Her first appearance was on August 9th 1930, on the popular Talkartoon cartoon series. Today she is featured on a wide range of merchandise from gift bags and collectibles to earrings and even fancy dress costumes.
It’s Betty’s flirtatious persona that really boosted her popularity. She was the first strong, powerful woman figure on TV before Madonna and Marilyn Monroe came along. She actually started out less human like when she was first created. Over time she transformed into the sexually charged woman we know and love today.
She became so popular after her first initial appearances that she even got her own series. There was a lot of criticism in the 1930’s that Betty Boop was too sexy. Those opposed to her flirtatious character even tried to get her famous “Boop-oop-a-doop” taken away. Luckily they failed and the catchphrase lived on.
While Betty’s reign came to an end in the late 1930’s, her legacy still continues today. She may be a cartoon character, but there’s no denying she’s one of the world’s best known sex symbols. She’s even up there with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. With many short films and a cartoon series under her belt, Betty Boops memory will continue to live on. Cheeky Kid steals the show as street magicians trick backfires..wtf he has some moves haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22zVxs…

I’ll take Kim Bassinger in “Cool World” when it comes to hot cartoon characters… LOL.
