Four of five inmates who escaped from a jail in central California and were considered “armed and dangerous” were captured on Saturday, the authorities said.

The inmates escaped from the Madera County Jail around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, the county Sheriff’s Department said in a statement on its Facebook page.

But around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Pacific time, Erica Stuart, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Department, announced that four of the inmates had been captured. More than 4 years ago on May 5, 2010, Cinqo de Mayo, four students at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California — a school with a predominant Mexican-American student body — were ordered by the vice principal Miguel Rodriguez to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out.

A powerful explosion occurred at a military plant in the rebel-held Ukrainian city of Donetsk after a shell hit it. A fire is now ravaging the damaged facility.

The plant was used for producing explosives and ammunition as well as for dismantling unexploded munitions collected on the battlefields. WASHINGTON (AP) – A man who drove up to a White House gate and refused to leave was arrested on Saturday, the Secret Service said, less than 24 hours after another man jumped the fence and made it all the way into the presidential residence before being apprehended. The president and first family were not at home.

The second incident started Saturday afternoon when a man approached one of the White House gates on foot, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan said. He later showed up at another gate in a car and pulled into the vehicle screening area. When the man refused to leave, he was placed under arrest and charged with unlawful entry. McCOOK – Rio Grande Valley ranchers said their homes and camps are being targeted by thieves looking for guns.

Half a dozen people who own ranch land in the McCook area said they were victims of these break-ins or knew someone burglarized.

CHENNAI: A group of students at SRM University led by Sobin Santhosh, final year student in the Aerospace department have designed and implemented an autonomous copter equipped with an automatic face and person recognition system in a day. In their drill experiment of the rescue application, an onboard camera was mounted on a quad-copter UAV where a live video was recorded. The video was fed to the person identification software, developed on a MATLAB platform by Arijit Ray, a final year student of SRM University in the Electrical and Electronics Department. The software successfully detected the target person in an image taken while the copter has hovering. Several images of the target individual were taken in different postures, angles and backdrops to ensure that the software has a robust accuracy. Ultimately, only five individuals showed up to protest at the port of entry in Pharr, Texas.

Ron Cupp, who referred to himself and the founder of the event, was present. More than 700 infants may have been exposed to tuberculosis at an El Paso hospital over the past year by an employee recently diagnosed with the illness, health officials said Friday.

This is the fourth blog post about the CDC whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, who co-authored the adulterated 2004 study which claimed the MMR vaccine was not associated with autism.  Dr. Thompson has admitted that the paper’s data was altered to hide a 240% increase in autism in African American children who were vaccinated before 36 months of age when they were compared to those vaccinated later.  Furthermore, there was a 69% increase risk in autism in all male children who received the MMR vaccine before 36 months. (1) Under emotional and mental distress over what happened, Dr. Thompson contacted Brian Hooker, PhD who has a son with autism caused by vaccine injury. Dr. Thompson gave Dr. Hooker the missing 2004 data which Dr. Hooker recently published in the Translational Neurodegeneration Journal.
