I was horrified beyond measure to learn that the FDA is now, unbelievably, like something out of a Nazi horror movie, invading farms and telling the farmers that healthy, organic practices are now no longer allowed, under the authority of the falsely named “Food Safety Modernization Act”. Why are we paying feds who have never so much as sprouted a bean to harass farmers about what they should do? Some residents of eastern Colorado Springs saw an impromptu air show Monday morning as a pair of fighter jets escorted an airliner into Peterson Air Force Base during a training exercise.

The sight had some worrying that the transport had been hijacked or suffered some other emergency.

Poland’s defence minister has said that 12 US F-16 aircraft should begin arriving in Poland on Monday and Tuesday, for “training exercises” following the Russian incursion into Crimea.

The Department of Energy announced that fecal samples taken from employees at the nuclear waste facility found 17 workers tested positive for low levels of radiation. After initial testing more than a week ago, the DOE reported 13 workers tested positive for trace amounts americium and plutonium. Sales of recreational marijuana products in Colorado added more than $2.1 million to state coffers in tax receipts and other fees in the first month retail sales of the drug were allowed, state figures showed on Monday.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Dancers at a gentlemen’s club felt harassed and uncomfortable when the establishment was raided by nearly a dozen police officers who demanded to take pictures of the women and examine their bodies and permits.
