In 2020 and 2021 birds were going blind as well as dropping out of the sky in the U.S. (see 1, 2). Earlier this year it was reported that a flock of blackbirds dropped from the sky in Mexico. There could be numerous reasons for this including exposure to electromagnetic radiation (see 1, 2) which includes 4G and 5G cell towers and antennas (see 1, 2, 3) as well as other sources of wireless “Wi-Fi” radiation (see 1, 2). In fact, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of birds died during 2020 U.S. Air Force exercises with 5G and with Starlink. Nevertheless, despite increasing complaints, litigation, opposition, and warnings (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), the deployment and densification of both 5G and 4G emitting infrastructure continues worldwide including near nature preserves where it can affect birds and other wildlife.
