As Congress votes on legislation that would include $600 stimulus checks for Americans amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, a former Democratic congressman proposed to add another few hundred dollars on top of that for Americans who vaccinate.

“Imagine if we made that $900 or $1000, and $600 went to everyone, and another $300 or $400 went to when you received the vaccine,” John Delaney, a representative for Maryland’s 6th congressional district from 2013 to 2019 and a 2020 presidential candidate, said on Yahoo Finance Live. “Ideas like that should be put in the mix because it takes a stimulus check, which is important, and it also creates an incentive for people to get vaccinated, which is incredibly important.” Continue reading “Stimulus checks should be topped off with $300 for Americans who vaccinate against coronavirus, John Delaney argues”

Russia acted with impunity when it hacked U.S. government servers in a global cyber-espionage campaign and could do far more damage next time — like cutting off the nation’s water and electricity supply, GOP Sen. Mitt Romney said Sunday.

Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the Utah senator said the massive cyberattack discovered earlier this week, which officials say could be the biggest hack on the American government ever, must be met with a vigorous response and without delay. On Monday night, if you look toward the southwest horizon you’ll see a rare celestial event. Our two largest planets, Saturn and Jupiter, will align, creating what some refer to as “The Christmas Star.”The conjunction of the two planets hadn’t happened since 1623. That year, the event could only be seen further south and across Africa. The last time the people of Europe and North America glimpsed the phenomenon was 1226. Jupiter isn’t a star. Neither is Saturn. But for one night only, on the winter solstice, they will be.

If we look up at the sky at the right time, we will see the great conjunction of 2020. Low on the horizon for most observers, Jupiter and Saturn have been visibly moving toward each other for days. On the evening of December 21, these two planets will be so close that they will appear to the naked eye as almost one—a bright star in the heavens. While lockdowns were supposed to be temporary — initially just a couple of weeks to “flatten the curve” — nine months into the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s still no end in sight. Thanksgiving was canceled in many parts of the U.S., and many government leaders are now urging residents to cancel their Christmas celebrations too.

What many still don’t realize is that the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic has little to do with the spread of an actual virus, and everything to do with the planned global takeover and implementation of a technocratic agenda known as the Great Reset. Some of the Covid-19 vaccines currently in development could increase the risk of acquiring HIV, warned a group of researchers in the The Lancet medical journal Monday, potentially leading to an increase in infections as vaccines are rolled out to vulnerable populations around the world.

The researchers warn of a “cautionary tale” from efforts to create an HIV vaccine over a decade ago, where a promising vaccine candidate actually increased the risk of some men catching the virus.

The predator might soon become the prey if Florida scientists can confirm that Burmese pythons — an extremely invasive species in the Everglades — are safe for us to eat.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is collaborating with the Florida Department of Health to investigate the mercury levels in pythons to determine if they can be safely consumed. If so, the snakes may soon end up on restaurant menus and dinner tables across the state.
