Scientific American – by Carolyn Barber

In a physician chat group recently, a doctor who treats hospitalized patients made a recommendation to our group of 38,000 members that left me startled and alarmed. She shared her protocol for all COVID-19 patients admitted to the hospital: every one of them gets not only a chest x-ray but an entire battery of special tests, including a coagulation test, a leg ultrasound and a CT scan.

This was offered as her blanket standard of care. What it actually represents to me is one of the biggest problems with health care in America—because not every admitted patient needs all these tests. And this is not a new story. This document presents considerations from the perspective of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for implementing the shielding approach in humanitarian settings as outlined in guidance documents focused on camps, displaced populations and low-resource settings.^1,2  This approach has never been documented and has raised questions and concerns among humanitarian partners who support response activities in these settings. The purpose of this document is to highlight potential implementation challenges of the shielding approach from CDC’s perspective and guide thinking around implementation in the absence of empirical data. Considerations are based on current evidence known about the transmission and severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and may need to be revised as more information becomes available. Please check the CDC website periodically for updates. As efforts to develop and test a COVID-19 vaccine spur debate around the timing and release of a federally approved vaccine, the share of Americans who say they would get vaccinated for the coronavirus has declined sharply since earlier this year.

About half of U.S. adults (51%) now say they would definitely or probably get a vaccine to prevent COVID-19 if it were available today; nearly as many (49%) say they definitely or probably would not get vaccinated at this time. Intent to get a COVID-19 vaccine has fallen from 72% in May, a 21 percentage point drop.  Continue reading “U.S. Public Now Divided Over Whether To Get COVID-19 Vaccine”

The overseas wars that the US military has been involved with for nearly two decades have been unpopular with the American public for a very long time. Both Obama and Trump campaigned on promises of ending the wars, or at the very least significantly scaling them back. However, while both administrations oversaw small and ceremonial troop withdrawals, the US military’s involvement overseas did not slow down and didn’t seem to miss a beat from the Bush era.  Continue reading “Biden Has Filled His Foreign Policy Team With Weapons Contractors”

As the nation cracks down on group activities so close to the Thanksgiving holiday, Gov. Kate Brown, a Democrat, has told Oregon‘s residents to call the cops if they see coronavirus violations.

“This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,” Brown said in an interview Friday. “What do neighbors do [in that case]? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy. This is just like that. It’s like a violation of a noise ordinance.”  Continue reading “Oregon governor tells residents to call cops on people violating COVID restrictions”

Hello. Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m a Satan-worshiping billionaire who wants to exterminate most of the human race because they’re a threat to my wealth, and plans for world domination. Will you please be good enough to hold still while I inject poison into your arm?

Do I know what’s in a vaccine? No, I don’t. What I do know is that the people who are insisting that I get vaccinated want me dead. What else do I need to know? Continue reading “Get Your Free Vaccine Today!!”

Our brothers and sisters are starting to get the message, and nothing makes me happier. Over the years the Trenchers have led the way to and once again is fighting to become a Bill Of Rights nation. Through powerful radio shows and articles written by all of us here, our Bill Of Rights fire has been rekindled. It has taken over a decade.

Every day now our site is posting articles of Americans fighting the commie ass police, telling them “no we won’t, get out, you’re on private property”. This is the kind of stuff that sends the tears flowing. The kind of stuff we have fought so hard to see finally happen, our people fighting back, a beginning to a much larger insurrection. Northern Arizona University cracked down on students who hadn’t received mandatory COVID-19 testing by locking them out of their online classes, a move that prompted most to get into compliance.
