Reports from the Honduras-Guatemala border shows large groups of migrants illegally pushing past security personnel. Despite the threat of COVID-19, the migrants forced their way across the border.

He reports the group is heading to Mexico — presumably with an intended destination of the U.S. southern border. Continue reading “Thousands of Caravan Migrants Push into Guatemala”
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said early Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the coronavirus, a stunning announcement that plunges the country deeper into uncertainty just a month before the presidential election.
Trump, who has spent much of the year downplaying the threat of a virus that has killed more than 205,000 Americans, said he and Mrs. Trump were quarantining. The White House physician said the president is expected to continue carrying out his duties “without disruption” while recovering. George Soros may draw some of the most vociferous criticism, but he’s hardly the biggest political donor in this cash-heavy election cycle — Democrat or Republican.
In fact, Soros is 24th on the largest givers in this cycle, and Jewish donors on both the right and left populate the list above him. Continue reading “Meet the leading Jewish political donors in this US election cycle”

Since the start of the pandemic, we have been holding out hope on two things: that we can implement proper mitigation strategies to limit the spread of the infection and better treat those who become ill; and that we will eventually be able to develop a vaccine that will protect us against the virus going forward. Unfortunately, it’s looking increasingly likely that these two keys to salvation will be scuttled by the tinfoil-hat crowd, a group of people that society can no longer afford to ignore. Continue reading “How conspiracists could prolong the pandemic — possibly indefinitely”
By 11:42 a.m. on the morning after Donald Trump refused to condemn white supremacists during the presidential debate, Heather Segal had received four inquiries from Americans interested in moving to Canada. Two of them were Jewish.

An active phase of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan lasted for several days because of disputed territories of Karabakh. The Azerbaijani and Turkish mass media and social networks persistently report about succesful actions of the Azerbaijani army and enormous losses among Armenian forces. However in fact the situation is different – the army of Azerbaijan has lost about 200 people since the start of operation, more than 350 were wounded, over 70 vehicles were destroyed, including tanks, MLRS, helicopters and UAVs. A collaborative team of researchers has turned Boston Dynamics’ dog-like robot into a tiny mobile doctor, now able to remotely measure patients’ vital signs from a distance of over six feet (1.8 m). Dubbed Dr Spot, the robot is currently being tested as a way to safely triage potentially contagious COVID-19 patients.
After more than a decade of development Boston Dynamics’ Spot robot has recently been introduced to commercial markets. From inspecting building sites to working on oil rigs, a number of uses are being explored for this robot dog but perhaps one of its more interesting new jobs arose early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. It doesn’t matter who the president is, whether he’s Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal: If his lips are moving, he is lying. On the whole, Washington politicians are the biggest liars in the universe. They lie so much that they have totally and thoroughly lost touch with any semblance of honesty. They care as much for truth as they care about the lives of the people they routinely destroy. That’s one reason why I never watch presidential debates. Watching liars attempt to out-lie each other just isn’t my cup of tea. Continue reading “Finally, A President Told Us The Truth—Sort Of”

Aurora, CO — A video released this week was so disturbing that even Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson is speaking out about it, referring to what happened to a woman in it as “torture.” One of the chief’s now-former officers hog-tied a woman, Shataean Kelly, 28, before taking her on a “punishing” 20 minute ride during which she nearly died.
The incident happened last year and ended with the firing of Officer Levi Huffine. Since he was fired, the officer has been fighting for his job back, something that the chief says will not happen but something that readers of TFTP know happens all too often.
