Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown
Manuel Martinez, born in Cuba, escaped the brutal Communist regime in Cuba in 1954. On Friday, he saw the face of Communists in America in Salem, Oregon as he addressed, without teleprompter or notes, gun grabbing bureaucrats, including Committee Leader Floyd Prozansky. Pointing a finger as Prozanksy, he declared, “You don’t know what freedom is because you never lost it!”
Mr. Martinez’s passionate testimony included how citizens under Castro were first disarmed by legislation similar to that being pushed along by Floyd Prozanski. This left many Cuban Citizens defenseless, who were later summarily slaughtered.
Martinez is a strong Second Amendment guy too! In fact, he is my kind of Second Amendment guy, a no-compromise guy when it comes to keeping and bearing arms. “I oppose any manipulation, any regulation, elimination or distrust of the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.”
Martinez didn’t mince words either and he didn’t have a problem calling out Democrats for what they are as he declared retold of how Democrats came to power in 1959.
“malicious individuals, masquerading as Democrats,.. established … a dictatorial regime … in my nation called Communism, Socialism, Stalinism, Marxism, and whatever other named -ism you want to put on it. The reason why it was done was to take away the guns from the people.”
Martinez said that the right to bear arms is the same thing as “freedom” because no man gives you freedom, but God. In fact, Martinez said, “The Second Amendment and my God given right of freedom will cease only with my death,” he said eluding to the fact that he would not relinquish his arms in the face of tyranny.
No doubt there were many there who got chills and were emotional as Martinez gave a heartfelt description of scenes of sons torn from the loving arms of their mothers only to be shot dead in the streets before them, simply because they lacked the means of protection (ie. guns).
“I’ve been through it. I’ve been there. You people don’t know what freedom is because you never lost it! You haven’t been tortured. You haven’t been [sic] assassinations. You haven’t been — mothers begging for the life of their son not to be killed because the only reason is they want is to be free. And they killed the mothers, and they killed the son.”
By tangling with the Second Amendment, we are open to Communism in the same manner Cuba, China, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Venezuela and other countries were Martinez said.
He then gave this grave warning:
“The dictatorial regime that will destroy this country in the same way they destroyed those ones that I mentioned to you. Gun control does not protect anybody. It doesn’t protect the citizens. It doesn’t protect the people. The only reason for the gun control in the government is to protect from them, the citizens.”
In this manner, the government is able to manipulate and subjugate the people Martinez pointed out, “and that’s what happened in Cuba for fifty-two years.”
“I came here for freedom,” he continued. “At the time I came here it was different. This country opened the arms for me. I couldn’t get it in Cuba.”
Dan Sandini, from Daylight Disinfectant, who captured the video, said that “even the Liberal hacks in the press pool were visibly shaken. The expressions on the Senators faces … well they spoke for themselves.”
Good! It’s about time someone shined the light on the cockroaches and made them fear a little dose of reality. My hat’s off to Mr. Martinez for bravely standing up and outing the Communists masquerading as Democrats and calling attention to what the real agenda is behind gun control.
Take heed all those who want to take our guns away. People from communist countries, the UK and Australia have warned us. Once we lose the second amendment rights, we All lose our other rights.
I saw this the other day. Unfortunately it’s like talking to a wall with all the Communists and traitors we have in Congress. It’ll just fall on deaf ears. There will be no change unless WE THE PEOPLE stand up against these traitors and make the change through the barrel of a gun.
RIP Senor Luz, I miss you my Cuban friend. Luz was much like this man, except he spent 17 years in Castro’s prisons for the crime of being a freedom loving patriot to his country. It took Luz five years and innumerable scrapes with the TPTB in Cuba before he escaped to Miami.
I have never met a harder working, friend and family loving man in my life.
Why have I shared this? It was Luz who woke me up! Luz was killed 3 years ago when he slid his truck off the road in Tenn. and I do miss my friend.
