Maryland State Police have classified anti-immigration graffiti spray painted on the former Army Reserve Center in Westminster as a hate crime.
The graffiti was sprayed sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to Lt. Patrick McCrory, commander of the state police Westminster barracks. The graffiti said “NO ILLEAGLES [sic] HERE NO UNDOCUMENTED DEMOCRATS.”
It was spray-painted on the front of the Army Reserve Center, which recently became embroiled in controversy when the Obama administration considered using the facility to house immigrant children caught crossing the US-Mexico border illegally.
It should be noted that some of these undocumented “children” have gray in their beards. Their actual age, like their actual origin, is generally unknown.
Few will disagree that vandalism should be punished. But vandalism is not the main crime here:
McCrory said the graffiti was being considered a hate crime because of its racial message.
“This is definitely a racial, religious, ethnic incident,” McCrory said.
Actually, the graffiti is legal and political, not racial, religious, or ethnic. But even if it were, the idea of authorities wanting to punish not the act of vandalism but the thoughts of the vandal should terrify anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of the principles our country was founded on.
Hate crimes are considered a misdemeanor crime, punishable by up to three years in a prison and a $5,000 fine, according to the Maryland State Commission on Criminal Sentencing Policy.
As for the vandalism itself, the authorities will probably let that slide. Maryland is exceedingly liberal, and the more liberal a community, the more likely every reachable surface is to be covered in graffiti.
Hell man!! find out where these scum bags live and handle it. Writing on a wall doesn’t do a thing about the situation.

If you can run it down in your truck, it’s legal to eat roadkill in West Virginia, and Maryland should adopt our cuisine laws. The first thing I notice whenever I leave the state, is how many dead animals the civilized have along their highways. Supply “undocumented democrats” with a bottle of bar-b-que sauce, and turn em’ loose, problem solved.
