The following photos were released May 2, 2013 by the (Propaganda section) US 138th Public Affairs Detachment.  The photos depict Joint Task Force Guantanamo’s “Behavioral Health Unit” and Joint Medical Group facilities where detainees are force-fed due to an ongoing hunger strike among more than two-thirds of the detainees.  The photos released by the military show soldiers trying to provide food to the detainees in Camp 5 and 6, then throwing the food away after it is refused by the detainees.  The photos also show “internal nourishment preparation” and a “feeding chair” used when force-feeding detainees.   Continue reading “Inside Americas Gulag”

The Organic Prepper

Much has been written about building a preparedness pantry, but not quite as much information is available about a whole-foods version of that pantry.

We build food stockpiles for many reasons:

  • To combat the weekly increase in the price of food
  • To be ready for unforeseen disasters that preclude us being able to “run to the store” (That disaster could be anything from a paralyzing storm to a power outage to martial law ala Boston)
  • To be prepared for possible food shortages
  • To make life easier because you never have to run to the store for “just one thing”
  • To return to our roots and prepare for the winter in a way similar to our ancestors   Continue reading “A Peek into an Organic Prepper’s Pantry”

Alt-Market – by Brandon Smith

In the war for the continued existence of our Nation’s Constitutional principles, I had long wondered whether statists were simply confounded by the Bill of Rights and ignorant of its function or whether they were maliciously inclined, knowing exactly what it means but seeking its destruction anyway. In recent years, I have decided it is a combination of both faults.   Continue reading “Statists Use Twisted Logic To Attack The Bill Of Rights”

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Air Force stripped an unprecedented 17 officers of their authority to control — and, if necessary, launch — nuclear missiles after a string of unpublicized failings, including a remarkably dim review of their unit’s launch skills. The group’s deputy commander said it is suffering “rot” within its ranks.   Continue reading “Air Force sidelines 17 ICBM officers”

The September 18, 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), ostensibly a vehicle for the U.S. to go after the perpetrators of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, DC., turns out to have been a whole hell of a lot more than that nearly 12 years on. That simple joint resolution has been stretched very thin during the War on Terror. The original text gives the President permission to “use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons.” Fair enough (ish).   Continue reading “John McCain, Carl Levin, Lindsey Graham, Others, Mull Possible ‘Update’ to AUMF”

When CNN, as revealed by their own whistle-blowing anchor Ambor Lyon, isn’t busy running campaigns state-sponsored propaganda and massive censorship they are hard at work perfecting the art of fake news broadcasts.

Apparently they believe such efforts will help them rebound from a 80% drop in viewership when in reality the public  is tuning out because they are realizing on a massive scale they are being lied to and manipulated by the government controlled propaganda mouth-piece.   Continue reading “CNN Caught Faking Boston Bombings Broadcast”

US honey bees have been dying by the tens of millions, with annual death rates of about 30 percent. With fewer bees to pollinate fruits and vegetables each year, ‘beemageddon’ may soon cause the collapse of the agriculture industry.

Honey bees pollinate more than 100 US crops, including apples, zucchinis, avocados and plums, that are worth more than $200 billion a year. Since 2006, about 10 million bee hives at an average value of $200 each have been lost in what scientists call the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), according to a new report by the US Department of Agriculture.   Continue reading “‘Beemageddon’ threatens US with food disaster”

There is an increasing number of charges that the recent gun control legislation was rejected because of slippery slope arguments.  One such charge was leveled by the loser himself, Joe Manchin.

Think gun control failed in the Senate because of gun-clutching extremists? Or because of fanatical radicals who want to abolish the Second Amendment? Senator Joe Manchin, who’s been at the heart of the effort, says it’s nothing of the sort. In fact, the central problem really has nothing to do with firearms at all — it’s about trust.   Continue reading “The Slippery Slope Argument On Guns”

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said on Monday he plans to sue Bank of America Corp and Wells Fargo and Co for violating the terms of a settlement designed to end mortgage servicing abuses.

Schneiderman issued the announcement, which suggests lawsuits could be filed against the banks within two months, ahead of a widely anticipated report from the monitor for the multi-state settlement, which is expected to be critical of banks.   Continue reading “New York to sue BofA, Wells Fargo over mortgage practices”

You or someone you know may see guns as deadly killing machines that are simply to blame for a large volume of homicides across the nation, but a brief look at the history of gun control actually offers a new perspective into the application of guns on an entirely new level. While normalcy bias (a thinking pattern that causes an individual to underestimate the potential of any event or situation due to currently enjoying a normal and cushy lifestyle) can oftentimes lead individuals away from the reality of history, countless citizens around the world have been highlighting the repetitive history that follows gun control.   Continue reading “A Brief and Bloody History of Gun Control”

When Dallas-based 16-year old Ria Chhabra was in middle school, she overheard her parents debating the value of organic versus conventional produce. She decided to put the debate to rest and win the local science fair.

She discovered that organic had more vitamin C than what we call conventional produce (with pesticides). She kept going and recently, her work was published in PLOS ONE peer reviewed online science journal. Check out her work, “Organically Grown Food Provides Health Benefits to Drosophila melanogaster.” She has won a variety of honors including lab privileges that grad students envy.   Continue reading “Young Student Answers Organic Debate With Fruit Flies”

History is replete with examples of government creating a problem by intervening in people’s business and then proposing a government solution to the problem that government itself has created.  Usually this sort of con is used not only to loot the public, but also to expand the power of government.  The Progressive Movement here in these presently united States, which started toward the tail end of the 19th century and which is still active today, is a perfect example.  Progressivism was sold to the public based on the idea that mankind could be ‘perfected’ by just the right legislation and regulation.  Rather than adhere to the Enlightenment idea of leaving people alone, letting them trade independently, and minimalizing government intrusion into the market, Progressives preferred to attempt to use the power of government to correct what they stated were “Flaws” in the free market.   Continue reading “Progressive Tyranny”
