The spirit of courageous FBI-informant Larry Grathwohl--who spent a lifetime challenging unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers—haunts him still.

It was Grathwohl who awakened America to the inherent dangers of Barack Obama in the run up to the 2008 presidential election when he described a meeting he attended where Bill Ayers and Weather Underground members talked openly about how they would have to murder an estimated 25 million people following the revolution they were then attempting to foment.   Continue reading “The spirit of the late Larry Grathwohl still haunts Bill Ayers”

Under fire from the Boy Scouts of America and under investigation by law enforcement, two Utah troop leaders who taped themselves gleefully toppling a boulder from a Jurassic-era rock formation in a state park said Friday they should have been more hands-off.

Glenn Taylor and Dave Hall told NBC News that they acted with good intentions, pushing the massive rock before it could fall on its own and hurt someone, but now wish they had just alerted a ranger.   Continue reading “Utah scout leaders who topped ancient rock: ‘We did something right the wrong way’”

GOSHEN — The lawyer for a Sparrowbush man charged in the murder of a Rockland rape fugitive said his client tried twice to help local police capture the suspect, but that cops bungled both attempts.

David Carlson later shot and killed New Hempstead resident Norris Acosta-Sanchez with a 12-gauge shotgun when he showed up on Carlson’s property Oct. 11. Carlson, charged with second-degree murder, was released from jail Friday afternoon after his bail was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond in Orange County Court.   Continue reading “Man who shot Rockland rape suspect left in lurch by cops, lawyer says”

Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-  In a bid to fight against criminal and gang possession of firearms on the street, Illinois state rep. Mike Zalewski (D-21st Dist.) is set to propose legislation that essentially labels all firearm possession outside the home illegal.

This measure—HB 2265—does not differentiate between possession by law-abiding citizens and possession by criminals or gang members. And the NRA warns that this creates a situation where a law-abiding citizen who has a gun in his or her car for self-defense—but no concealed carry permit or Firearm Owner Identification Card (FOID)—could “face serious penalties for an innocuous mistake.”   Continue reading “Illinois Law Would Heavily Restrict Possession of Firearms Outside Home”

Saving General Motors from bankruptcy was among President Obama’s most frequently cited achievements when he ran for re-election last year. Democrats everywhere touted the company’s revival as proof of the 2009 bailout’s wisdom. That was then. Now, Obama has quietly released the auto manufacturer from a bailout requirement that it increase its production in the U.S. Instead, GM is spending billions of dollars building up its production capacity in … China.   Continue reading “GM got bailout, now ships jobs to China”

“The stream will not permanently rise higher than the main source; and the main source of national power and national greatness is found in the average citizenship of the nation.” – Theodore Roosevelt

What should be expected of a citizen in a Democratic Republic? President Theodore Roosevelt delivered a timeless 1910 speech that sought to answer this question. Regardless of his politics, Roosevelt spoke undying truth in this speech. His words are shockingly relevant to our society today. As Roosevelt rightly stated; We – if our spirits are right – are the waters from which liberty and prosperity flow. Today, we must acknowledge that the waters have been poisoned; Poisoned by the natural tendencies of history, and by individuals seeking to push our society in a direction diametrically opposed to what our ancestors intended.   Continue reading “America’s Greatness Rises and Falls With the Character of Her People”

It was an innocuous e-mail, one of millions sent every day by spouses with updates on the situation at home. But this one was of particular interest to the National Security Agency and contained clues that put the sender’s husband in the crosshairs of a CIA drone.

Days later, Hassan Ghul — an associate of Osama bin Laden who provided a critical piece of intelligence that helped the CIA find the al-Qaeda leader — was killed by a drone strike in Pakistan’s tribal belt.   Continue reading “Documents Reveal NSA’s Extensive Involvement In Targeted Killing Program – Extrajudicial Murder”

Washington, D.C. – The complex negotiations aimed at bringing a long-term solution to the federal government’s expenditure and debt problem have produced an unconventional proposal. “Although the solution only focuses on a tiny fraction of government expenditures,” declared President Barack Obama, “it is a step in the right direction.”

“Moreover,” he added, “it will show the American people that what’s good for them is good for us, too.”   Continue reading “Mobile Gun-Free Zones Are Coming to America”

The Obama administration has been caught red-handed engaged in software piracy. Computer code used on Healthcare.gov was stolen (and then modified in an effort to conceal the theft) from a UK company called Spry Media.

To my best knowledge, this story was broken by WeeklyStandard.com in a blog authored by Jeryl Bier.   Continue reading “Obama administration caught in blatant software piracy; script powering Healthcare.gov ripped off from UK company”

Next year’s midterm elections for Congress are now a tossup between the Republicans and the Democrats, according to the betting at the Iowa Electronic Markets — the only sportsbook in America allowed to bet on U.S. elections.

Nancy Pelosi’s chances of leading the Democrats to a House majority have more than doubled in less than a month to about 50% as a result of the government-shutdown fiasco, according to betting on the exchange.   Continue reading “Bettors’ verdict: GOP could lose the House”
