NEW YORK (AP) — After years of delays due to funding disputes, engineering challenges and a nearly disastrous flood, a museum dedicated to victims of the 9/11 terror attacks will open to the public in mid-May in a giant cavern beneath the World Trade Center site — with a world-class admissions price of $24.

National 9/11 Memorial and Museum President Joe Daniels said Friday that tickets would go on sale for the museum in March for the spring opening. That $24 price is in line with other major tourist attractions in New York City. It costs $18 to take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, $25 to see the Museum of Modern Art and $27 to visit the observation deck of the Empire State Building.   Continue reading “NYC 9/11 museum opens to public in May”

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A judge on Friday ordered a Texas hospital to remove life support for a pregnant, brain-dead woman whose family had argued that she would not want to be kept in that condition.

Judge R. H. Wallace Jr. issued the ruling in the case of Marlise Munoz. John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth has been keeping Munoz on life support against her family’s wishes. The judge gave the hospital until 5 p.m. CST Monday to remove life support. The hospital did not say Friday whether it would appeal.   Continue reading “Judge: Remove life support for pregnant woman”

Gun control advocates in California are high-fiving each other, as the ridiculous regulation requiring “microstamping” has driven Sturm Ruger and now Smith & Wesson, two of the biggest manufacturers of handguns in the United States, out of the state. The newly enforced legislation is little more than a stealth ban on semi-auto handguns, dressed up to look like a simple crime-solving technology.

Ballistic imprinting, or “microstamping” is a technology that engraves a marking onto the firing pin of a gun.  When the weapon is fired, the imprint of this marking is left on the bullet casings.  The avowed purpose of this mark is to allow investigators to identify the registered owner of a gun used in a crime.   Continue reading “Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Driven Out of California by Ridiculous Regulations”

After oil companies and state executives in North Dakota hid the news from the public that nearly 300 oil spills occured between 2011 and 2013, radioactive toxic sludge is brimming back up to the surface, bubbling forth from the ground and mixing with fresh water across the state.

In late 2013, the shale oil industry in North Dakota received national attention when a train carrying explosive “Bakken” oil derailed and exploded near the town of Cassleton on December 30. Eighteen rail cars attached to the train also spilled 400,000 gallons of crude oil–one of the biggest spills ever recorded in the United States.   Continue reading “Radioactive Waste Dumped by Oil Companies is Seeping Out of the Ground in North Dakota”

Please note that I use the word Israeli to refer to anyone of Jewish descent who supports Israel over the US. They are willing to defend the attack on the USS Liberty by Israel and the controlled demolition of the World Trade Center Towers 1, 2 and 7 on 911 by the Mossad.

Mordecai Vanunu was the original whistleblower. In 1986 he told the world that Israel had nuclear weapons publishing photos of the secret Dimona works in the British press. He said Prime Minister Ben Gurion ordered the assassination of JFK because the President opposed Israel’s acquisition of nuclear weapons. Ben Gurion resigned in protest over JFK’s Israeli policies. Vanunu also wrote a letter in 1997 saying that there was even a link between the assassination of Kennedy and Israel’s launching of the 1967 war.   Continue reading “Ryan Dawson And Michael Collins Piper: Israel And JFK”

Earth From SpaceThe Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Have you been paying attention to what has been happening in Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, Ukraine, Turkey and China?  If you are like most Americans, you have not been.  Most Americans don’t seem to really care too much about what is happening in the rest of the world, but they should.  In major cities all over the globe right now, there is looting, violence, shortages of basic supplies, and runs on the banks.  We are not at a “global crisis” stage yet, but things are getting worse with each passing day.  For a while, I have felt that 2014 would turn out to be a major “turning point” for the global economy, and so far that is exactly what it is turning out to be.  The following are 20 early warning signs that we are rapidly approaching a global economic meltdown…   Continue reading “20 Early Warning Signs That We Are Approaching A Global Economic Meltdown”

A US government privacy board dubs the NSA’s phone calls hoarding illegal and calls to shut… wait, it’s Justin Bieber. And so the Congresswoman being interviewed was dumped mid-sentence to report the “breaking news” of Bieber’s DUI arrest.

On Thursday, the MSNBC put out a report by the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB) slamming NSA hoarding of phone data, calling it ‘illegal.’ The privacy watchdog, established by US Congress in 2004, also urged President Barack Obama to end the NSA surveillance program.   Continue reading “Unbebiebable! A national newspaper chain with nearly 100 publications and 1.6 million readers is considering building “state-by-state databases” on concealed weapons permit holders, according to an internal e-mail.

The plan, laid out in an email from a top editor at North Carolina-based Civitas Media, could be similar to a controversial project a New York state newspaper carried out in 2012 which included an online map that identified gun owners in two counties by name and address. Civitas’ database project was detailed in a Jan. 19 e-mail to newsrooms across the chain, which has papers in 11 states, including Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania.   Continue reading “Newspaper chain plans ‘state-by-state’ concealed weapon databases”

COLUMBIA, S.C., January 24, 2014 – The South Carolina state senate this week is considering a bill to virtually ban the use of drones without a warrant. It recently passed the state house unanimously, with a vote of 100-0.

Introduced in early 2013 by Reps. Hamilton (R), Delleney (R), Taylor (R), Putnam (R) and Loftis (R), House bill 3514 (H3514) would prohibit the operation of drones by an agency of the state unless it is “pursuant to a criminal warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.”   Continue reading “South Carolina House passes legislation 100-0 to ban drones”

Why do they fight in a war that they know is a lie?

Why in the Hell would the troops and contractors continue to go to these wars knowing that they are lies? I believe it is for numerous reasons. Most of these guys joined up as young men that are very impressionable. Today they play all of the combat simulator games on xbox and playstation and want to go do it for real. They don’t have a real clue what combat is gonna be like they just want to try it. They live in a culture of violence and it becomes something that is desired because of the fake glory that is associated with death and warfare.   Continue reading “Why would they continue to go to a war they know is a lie?”
