Fellowship Of The Minds

L.D. Brown was an Arkansas state trooper who served as a bodyguard to Bill Clinton in the mid-1980s when Clinton was governor and, therefore, saw and knew a lot of the shenanigans (and worse) that went on.

Another question brought up in Sorola’s motion to suppress evidence was also addressed. At issue is whether he was detained, at which point he would have to be read his Miranda rights, which they did not do, or simply stopped for investigative purposes. The latter would be what is referred to as a Terry Stop. It is worth noting that a Terry Stop is defined as:

A brief detention of a person on reasonable suspicion of involvement in criminal activity but short of probable cause for arrest. The former secretary of state, senator, and first lady formally announced her candidacy in a video Sunday afternoon. The video features a group of Americans talking about preparing for different life events. A Manhattan woman who said “I do” to as many as 10 different men is facing criminal charges because she didn’t legally say “I don’t” anymore, and may have been married to as many as eight men at the same time, according to Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson.

A New Jersey school teacher has been suspended by her district and denounced by the head of the New Jersey State Police union after having her students write “get well” letters to Mumia Abu-Jamal, a former death row inmate and convicted cop-killer.

A Florida eighth-grader has been arrested on a felony charge after playing a prank on a teacher he didn’t like, officials said Sunday.

Authorities say 14-year-old Domanik Green broke into a school computer at the Paul R. On August 29, 2014, United States Border Patrol Agents from the Fort Brown Border Patrol Station, while in performance of their official duties, encountered an armed individual, identified as John Frederick FOERSTER, in the brush. During this encounter, FOERSTER turned and pointed a firearm at a USBP Agent, who intern [sic] fired several shots at FOERSTER.
