PARIS—Heads of state from some 150 countries began arriving in Paris Sunday for an international climate conference, triggering a lockdown of a city already on high alert after the Nov. 13 terror attacks.

The police closed major routes Sunday afternoon between airports, downtown Paris and the Le Bourget conference center where the conference known as COP21 will take place. Authorities told Parisians to not take to their cars and avoid using public transport through to the end of Monday, when the main routes will be closed for the whole day.   Continue reading “Paris Locked Down as Leaders Arrive for Climate Conference”

In October of 2014, Virginia resident Wilber Zarate came home to find that his daughter’s pet Chihuahua was missing. After taking a look at the footage recorded by his security camera, he discovered that an employee for PETA had walked right up to his front porch, and taken the dog away (he would later learn that PETA was in the area to round up stray dogs). By the time he showed up to PETA’s shelter in Norfolk, the animal had already been euthanized.   Continue reading “PETA Sued for Stealing and Euthanizing Family Pet”

WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) — When a U.S. Navy veteran traveled from Long Island to Florida for a knee replacement, his house was the last thing on his mind. But now his memory of it is all he can think about.

Philip Williams’ home was demolished in the spring by town officials while he spent about six months recuperating from surgical complications in Fort Lauderdale. Back in New York, officials in the Town of Hempstead deemed his modest two-story home unfit for habitation and knocked it down.   Continue reading “Town demolishes veteran’s house while he has surgery”

A day after Turkey arrested two journalists for their report exposing Erdogan’s weapons deliveries to “extremist groups” in Syria, confirming that no dissent to the president’s foreign policy would be allowed, today a new riot has erupted in Istanbul following the dramatic murder in broad daylight of Tahir Elci, the president of the Turkish bar association in southeastern Diyarbakir province, who was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while giving a public speech.   Continue reading “Violence Erupts In Turkey After Prominent Lawyer Is Assassinated On Live TV”

WEB Notes: Take a look at the photos of these people in the source article. Do they look like terrorists? They are fleeing their lands that have been destroyed by Western powers. Can you really blame them for seeking a better life? We posted this video last week of refugees and what is transpiring in European nations. The important thing to understand is the media is going to twist this both ways to confuse the masses and I believe it is working very well. Going back to the article here. While I am certain these people are really looking for a better life after their nations were destroyed it is very clear someone is helping them come to the European nations. Look at the new life vests in piles in the background. In a war ravaged nation I highly doubt new life vests have been salvaged to make such a voyage. The Obama administration has warned states to comply with federal efforts to resettle Syrian refugees in communities around the U.S. or else find their states subject to enforcement action.

In a letter this week, the Office of Refugee Resettlement threatens states concerned about resettling Syrians with punitive responses if they refuse to accept the refugees. ORR explains that states may not refuse ORR-funded benefits for refugees on the basis of religion and national origin.   Continue reading “Obama Administration Threatens States to Admit Syrian Refugees or Face ‘Enforcement Action’”

American shoppers continued to embarrass themselves in the eyes of the world during yesterday’s shopping extravaganza. While smart shoppers stayed home and avoided the insanity by ordering gifts online, the melees were alive and well in malls and big box stores across the country.

When it becomes difficult to tell the difference between that giant horde of zombies on The Walking Dead and shoppers on the day after Thanksgiving, it’s pretty evident that we have a serious problem.   Continue reading “Black Friday 2015 Video Hall of Shame”
