The Trump administration on Wednesday will start to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico. And despite very tough talk about NAFTA during the campaign, it appears the administration has backed away from a major assault on the decades-old trade deal.

And that is a relief to businesses in all three countries.

During the presidential campaign, Donald Trump clearly tapped into frustration about workers who had lost jobs in manufacturing. And he painted NAFTA as one of the central villains responsible for stealing Americans jobs.   Continue reading “Trump’s NAFTA Makeover Not So Extreme”

The Daily Sheeple – by Dawn Lugar

Some Florida parents got a bit of a surprise when they were kicked out of pediatric firms for having unvaccinated children.

Even though the decision to not vaccinate is growing among those who read the vaccine inserts and familiarize themselves with the potential side effects, doctors want all children forcibly injected because they make more money if their patients vaccinate. It’s not a secret that the vaccine manufacturers dumped big money into California lawmakers pockets just before mandating all children get all the recommended vaccines. But safety and health come second to a pocket full of money.   Continue reading “Pediatricians In Florida Refuse To See Un-Vaccinated Kids”

The family of Alex Henry, who is serving a 19-year prison sentence for murder despite never touching the weapon used, say they will not stop fighting for justice after an appeal based on his autism was rejected.

In March 2014, Henry, then 20, was convicted of murder under the joint enterprise law after his friend, Cameron Ferguson, then 19, fatally stabbed Taqui Khezihi, 21, in West Ealing, London.

Ferguson pleaded guilty to murder and was jailed for 22 years. Henry was found guilty by association after it was argued he could have “foreseen” the knife could be used to cause death or harm. Henry maintains he did not know Ferguson had a knife.   Continue reading “Autistic man serving life for murder despite never touching weapon has appeal rejected”

They’re armed, trained on the use of their weapons and with a duty, they say, to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

Armed groups of private citizens have increasingly been taking on a security function at public events where the possibility of violent protest exists, including the past weekend at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Va.

“We’ve seen violent clashes in the past between the left and the right, that’s nothing new,” says Daryl Johnson, who spent years as a Department of Homeland Security analyst. The new wrinkle, he says, is “guys walking around in military garb with guns. You think that’s the police but in reality it’s the local militia or The Three Percenters.”   Continue reading “Militias a ‘chilling’ presence at rallies but few signs of violence, so far”

Imagine, asking a police officer to treat citizens with respect only to have them swear at you, taser and arrest you. When you ask why you’ve been arrested, they inform you that you are being charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. (The real reason you were arrested, you challenged their authority.)

But something strange, happened during your arrest.  You overheard an officer use a ‘code word’.

What did the ‘code word’ mean? Are the police using secret ‘code words’ to justify their misconduct and illegal arrest?   Continue reading “Police use ‘code words’ to warn fellow officers they are abusing citizens”
