Radiation levels across the Marshall Islands in the central Pacific Ocean, where the United States conducted more than 65 nuclear tests during the Cold War, are still alarmingly high — even higher than Fukushima and Chernobyl in some parts, a new study shows.

Gov. Kate Brown signed Senate Bill 663 into law Monday morning.

The judge in the first federal court trial of lawsuits by cancer victims who used Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide criticized the company’s apparent indifference to health and safety Monday but said he was legally required to reduce a jury’s damage award.

LORETTO, Tenn. (WAFF/Gray News) – A drug bust announcement out of Lawrence County, Tennessee came with an atypical warning about the dangers of trying to flush away drug evidence.

The warning stemmed from a drug arrest in Loretto over the weekend. Police say when they went to serve the search warrant, the suspect, Andy Perry, unsuccessfully tried to flush methamphetamine and several items of paraphernalia. Tragically, in America, mass shootings — in which murdering psychopaths go on rampages in public spaces — have claimed the lives of 339 people since 2015. While this number is certainly shocking and far too high, during this same time frame, police in America have claimed the lives of 4,355 citizens.

While some of these citizens were armed and dangerous, others were innocent, unarmed, and include small children. Daniel Shaver was one of these people whose life was brought to a screeching halt as he begged on his knees for police not to shoot him.
