The Philadelphia Police Department will be delaying arrests for an array of crimes including narcotics offenses, thefts, burglary, vandalism, prostitution, stolen cars, and economic crimes over coronavirus concerns.

Fresno, CA — A video uploaded to Facebook recently is causing quite the debate on social media after it showed a reportedly pregnant woman getting slammed to the ground by a police officer. The video was recorded outside a Walmart in Fresno last Friday.
There is very little information in regard to the video as it was taken by a bystander who did not know the alleged victim. According to the man who posted the video to his page, however, the young woman was accused of stealing. LAS VEGAS (AP) — Gambling will grind to a halt by Wednesday in casino-mecca Las Vegas, a city known for glitzy and sometimes reckless fun, as the governor of Nevada issued a sweeping statewide order aimed to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.
Democrat Steve Sisolak ordered a monthlong freeze on gambling, shutting down everything from the famous casino resorts to slot machines found in convenience stores, cutting off an industry that fuels the state’s tourism and hospitality-powered economy. A magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit the Wasatch Front shortly after 7 a.m., shaking homes from at least Logan and going all the way down to Utah County. It was the state’s largest earthquake since 1992, though at least so far there are no reports of major collapses.
The epicenter of the earthquake was northeast of Magna, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown announced Monday she is banning seated dining at the state’s bars and restaurants and prohibiting gatherings of more than 25 people, in the latest set of drastic actions meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Restaurants can continue take-out and delivery options and the prohibition on gatherings will have an exemption for grocery stores and retail outlets. Facebook is blocking users from posting some legitimate news articles about the novel coronavirus in what appears to be a bug in its spam filters.
On Tuesday, multiple Facebook users reported on Twitter that they found themselves unable to post articles from certain news outlets including Business Insider, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic, and The Times of Israel. Authorities from six Bay Area counties, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties with a combined population of 6.7-million people, announced a “shelter in place” order for all residents. The order is the strictest measure of its kind in the country, directing people to stay inside their homes and away from others for the next three weeks. Residents may only leave their homes to shop for food/supplies, to access health care, or to provide aide to those in need. President Trump predicts that the coronavirus will be a threat through July or August. For the first time since the week ending February 29, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released its Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report, which shows that the death toll from the seasonal flu has reached 22,000, including 144 children.

Citizens in France will be forced to present authorities with a form justifying why they have left their houses, during a nationwide lockdown attempting to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The entire nation of France entered into lockdown on Tuesday, under emergency measures that will be in place for at least the next 15 days. The measures announced by President Emmanuel Macron require people to refrain from going outside for all but essential purposes. TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – With the number of coronavirus cases pushing past 190 in Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis issued sweeping new restrictions Tuesday to help prevent the spread of the virus.
Starting at 5 p.m., all bars and nightclubs in Florida must close for 30 days. Restaurants must limit capacity to 50%, and all restaurant employees must be screened for the virus, DeSantis said at a press conference on Tuesday.
