Giant media conglomerates are increasingly reluctant to investigate or criticize government policies, particularly on defense, security and intelligence issues. They are ceding responsibility for holding governments and corporations accountable to the independent journalists and filmmakers who risk their careers, their freedom and their lives in war zones to expose the truth. With government deception rampant, independent voices are crucially important.

  1. Oh boy, this one made me angry. Watched first 10 minutes and it felt like Oliver Stone pablum, the kind that could have been served 10 years ago. I couldn’t do the whole thing so just bounced around here and there, and lo and behold, concluded that it is more gate-keeping, more honoring of the status quo. Unless I somehow missed it, no mention of Jewish Power. And who was showcased but the darlings of the liberal enterprise: Chomsky (“Who did 9/11 is irrelevant”), and Hedges, another 9/11 truth denier. Then comes Amy Goodman (NPR) and Glenn Greenwald, and, of course, Michael Moore. I could hardly stand it. Also making an appearance, Albert Einstein, instrumental in delivering humanity the atom bomb. Again, I didn’t watch every minute of this vid but this is my come-away from that content which I could actually stand. The crumbs tossed could not hide what was not tossed.
