A gunman opened fire in a crowded New Jersey mall late on Monday before killing himself, officials said, sparking a mass evacuation of the complex by police who did not realize he was dead for several hours.

The man shot at least six rounds from a modified rifle seemingly at random and without hitting anyone, before turning the gun on himself in a back area of the mall, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli told a news conference early on Tuesday.

Authorities named the dead man as 20-year-old Richard Shoop and said he had a history of drug abuse. Officials found his body in the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus at around 3:20 a.m. local time (0820 GMT).

Police backed by dozens of cruisers had earlier evacuated thousands of people from the mall and launched a manhunt after shoppers reported hearing gunshots sometime after 9 p.m, said Chief of Staff at Bergen County Jeanne Baratta.

Najee Waters, 19, of East Rutherford, New Jersey, was at his sales job at an H&M clothing store when he heard what sounded like two shots ring out.

“It was frantic. Absolutely chaos,” said Waters, who followed a practiced store emergency plan and rushed to a break room at the back of the store, where about a dozen workers gathered before dashing out to the parking lot. About 25 customers were in the store at the time.

The shooting occurred two months after a group of al Qaeda-linked militants launched an attack on a mall in Nairobi that killed 67 people.

The Garden State Plaza mall, owned by Australia’s Westfield Group, is one of five large malls in Paramus, located about 20 miles northwest of New York City and known as a key destination for shoppers.

  1. The average mush-minded sheeple would think “Hey! Finally someone just offed himself without hurting anyone else!”, but those with awakened minds will notice right away what a fishy story this is. The guy specifically chooses a shopping mall when any location would ideal for suicide? This has MKUltra and false flag written all over it. You also have to love how the story keeps changing from an “AK47” to a “modified rifle that may have belonged to his brother.”

  2. Have a look at westfields management:
    http://corporate.westfield.com/about/management/

Frank lowy (ex-israeli commando) is peter s. lowy’s father.

Search frank lowy and connections to 911.

    For instance:
    http://www.veteranstoday.com/2011/07/16/murdochs-deeply-hidden-jewish-roots-a-biography/

” “On September 12, 2001, The Jerusalem Post reported: “Frank Lowy, who emigrated to Australia from Israel in 1952, owns the 99-year lease for the 425,000 square foot retail portion of the destroyed World Trade Center…Westfield said today that it has insurance cover against terrorist attacks and its earnings will not be materially affected.”

Lowy, is described by the Sydney Morning Herald as “a self-made man with a strong interest in the Holocaust and Israeli politics.” ”

Have a look at who’s head of corporate finances and investor relations. Elliott rusanow…a russian ‘jew’.

    Westfield is a mossad nest.

Note how many shooting like this have happened in the last few years.

Now ask yourself: Who wants americans disarmed? Who’s spending money like water and screaming at the top of their lungs to do so?

    Don’t fall for this america.

  3. this seems like another staged event to me.. first off the Mall closes at 9:30pm.. shooting was reported sometime after 9 pm.. ? there were thousands of shoppers in the mall at that time??

“Police backed by dozens of cruisers had earlier evacuated thousands of people from the mall and launched a manhunt after shoppers reported hearing gunshots sometime after 9 p.m, said Chief of Staff at Bergen County Jeanne Baratta.”

they evacuated thousands from the mall before the shooting even happened? he was supposed to be dressed up in armor.. shoots out security cameras? no one reported wounded or dead from the shots fired.. then they find his body hours later in the mall??? cmon now..

Only those fast asleep could buy this one.

    1. Just like Henry and JD were saying today #1, they don’t even care if these false flags are even semi-believable anymore. They will continue at an ever increasing rate of frequency and brutality. Fortunately, one day soon, they will enter the realm of no return once their brutality starts it all.

  5. I am no expert on police issued weapons, but aren’t the guns being carried by some of the cops the ‘wrong’ ones? Not to mention, they are all carrying different weapons.

Another thing, as a photographer myself, don’t this pictures seem staged. They are too clean and too perfect. Pictures like these are either always staged, or REALLY a “rare and lucky shot.”
