Attorney General Eric Holder said on Friday he is prepared to dismantle the Ferguson police department if that’s what it takes.
Even though the Department of Justice (DOJ) decided not to charge officer Derrick Wilson for killing black teen Michael Brown, the DOJ said they discovered evidence the Ferguson police department was discriminating against black residents.
They said the police department stopped black residents for no reason and then cited them for a variety of crimes. The police are also being accused of using excessive force. The DOJ said they also discovered racial jokes that were sent via email by officers and court officials.
In response to the findings the city said two officers resigned and a county court clerk was fired.
Holder said it’s not enough:
We are prepared to use all the powers that we have, all the power that we have, to ensure the situation changes there. That means everything from working with them to coming up with an entirely new structure.
Holder also said the following about dismantling the police department:
If that’s what’s necessary, we’re prepared to do it.
Granted since Holder is leaving office soon that will be nominee Loretta Lynch’s job if she is approved by the full Senate.

This can be said about every police department in the country, and it’s not limited to black residents. They’re using Ferguson to exemplify a need for their new federal pig brigades. This will be an occupying army of a foreign power, and I hope every last one of them gets shot to pieces on their first day of “duty”.
Try it, buddy. Just try it. Fortunately, His Imperial Majesty Eric Holder does not have the power to dismantle the Ferguson police department. If he did have that power and actually accomplished that, you can kiss goodbye the last vestiges of law and order in the area.
I’m no fan of the police and abhor the police state thugs, but Ferguson is a high-crime area with a greater than 67% black population. Having worked there for many years and seeing how the good citizens of Ferguson live and conduct themselves, it is a good bet that police “randomly stopping black citizens in the area” are just doing their job to keep the peace. Even in a fenced and secure lot with tons of people coming and going constantly, break-ins were common occurrences. The thug Mike Brown is a perfect example of the “average” citizen of Ferguson.
What most missed in the riots. Was the complaint we can not go to work as the police if they see you driving a car. Think you have saved up enough money to pay more fines for looking like you have money. Much of the ST. Louis are police do just that. Not just Ferguson. They don’t pay the fines they take there diving permit away. As the auto plants and good jobs shut down those with skills moved to new jobs. Those that stayed on the good side of town still have jobs and vote. So the police leave them alone as they pay property tax’s and spend money there. But do to loss of job’s money from tax’s the city needs to pay it’s bills. It turned it’s police like so many towns do into the reva/you/force. rather than the police force. Much of ST. Louis is just that way. This has built up slow into long term anger and not from just the blacks there. Many will not go to ST. Louis to shop or other needs. Just because of what the reva police are in ST. Louis. They do have there reputation even outside of ST. Louis for this.
