  1. I agree. Season your barrel and keep the action clean. Dont scrub out the copper. The reason for shooting a.regiment worth of bullets to break in is actually more of a function and durability test. If you make a gun from scratch and may use it in battle someday, you may want to prove it works. Plus its fun.
