“Just when you thought you knew every word in the book for hate, here’s a new one: execrate. The word means to despise or also to curse.
Broken down to its Latin root, the word execrate means the opposite of being sacred or devoted to. When you execrate something you, are cursing it instead of making it holy. The word is not used all that often. If you say to someone, “I execrate you!” they might think you’re casting an evil spell on them. Which in a way, by cursing them, you are.
EXECRATE-
curse or declare to be evil or anathema or threaten with divine punishment
find repugnant, abhor, detest, loathe, abominate.”
Hope this helps to have the precise word in your vocabulary for this abhorrent instance. 🙂
Sorry, Katie, still grossly inadequate.
I think the only way I would ever be able to express my true feelings on this issue would involve a séance summoning the spirit of the artist formerly known as Prince, straight from the depths of hell. Then maybe, just maybe a symbol could be provided for a word that cannot be spoken that might begin to describe the depths of my repulsion towards the vile winter and its elements. 🙂
Wow! LOL, but none the less, taking you seriously. You have conveyed your ———— regarding the vile winter and it’s elements extremely poignantly.
I leave you in search for a symbol.
I don’t think even a symbol is going to do it at this point. Just dug myself out to the street for the third time this morning and it is still coming down, headed ass-high to a tall Indian.
This truly is getting worse for you Henry. I just hope the broadcast won’t be affected.
Abigail suggests you utilize Qbertese if all else fails.
Raining right now, but there is ice sitting on the rail outside that isn’t melting, so it could start snowing at any time. We’ve only gotten snow once so far, a couple weeks ago. It actually hung around most of the day before melting.
Such a scene is so beautiful from the warm home of the Taxpayer subsidized Elite Class.
Maybe better with watching someone in the Slave class toil to move the stuff.
Those of us that have to move it or work in it do not thinks the stuff is so pretty.
Oh, it’s so pretty…COLD.
I feel for you Henry and Laura knowing how you HATE the cold.
Hate is such an inadequate word in this instance. 🙂
LOL! Ok, here you go-

I despise snow, ice, cold, and Winter with a passion!
Winter is a frigid bit@h!!!
A snowman with no snowballs.
(Laughing)..Hibernation…
looks very similar to my view out the window
DAMN ‘GLOBAL WARMING’!!!
Yes, according to Day After Tomorrow movie they say, “Yes it is a paradox, but global warming can trigger a cooling trend.”
Speaking of global warming, have you got any white precipitation yet?

As for myself, it costs much more in work, time, and resourses to stay warm during the cold season than to stay cool in warm season.
As for my enemy coming during this season, they will find it more than a handful.. 🙂
Stay warm all.
