Laura Bush Suggests She’d Vote for Clinton Over Trump

Mediaite – by Sam Reisman

Laura Bush suggested that if the general election came down to a contest betweenHillary Clinton and Donald Trump, she would likely vote for her fellow former first lady.

“I understand that Americans are angry and frustrated but we do not need someone in the Oval Office who mirrors and inflames our anger and frustration,” she said.

“I want our next president — whoever he or she might be — to be somebody who is interested in women in Afghanistan and who will continue U.S. policies… that we continue to do what we’re committed to do as a country,” she said.

“That’s who I want — or the kind of people that will do that and will pay attention to our history, and know what’s happened before and know specifically how we can continue to do the good things that we do around the world.”

Bush’s comments were made Friday at the “Women in the World” summit in New York City and reported on by the Telegraph.

  1. Laura thanks so much, that means so much to all of us here at from the trenches. LoL just when you thought it could get any more desperate.

  2. ““I understand that Americans are angry and frustrated but we do not need someone in the Oval Office who mirrors and inflames our anger and frustration,” she said.”

And Clinton or any other candidate doesn’t do the same?

““I want our next president — whoever he or she might be — to be somebody who is interested in women in Afghanistan and who will continue U.S. policies… that we continue to do what we’re committed to do as a country,” she said.”

You mean continuing U.S. policies like starting wars, invading countries and raping women in Afghanistan?

Oh yea, that’s great policy coming from psychopaths. I’m sure Laura cares oh so deeply about our country. 🙄

  3. …”and who will continue US policies…that we continue to do what we’re committed to do as a country”–Is ‘Miss Laura’ referring to our Afghan policy of US soldiers protecting the opium fields??

Or the ‘policy’ of killing soldiers by ‘unfriendly-friendly fire’ who want to expose it such as Pat Tillman??

  4. What does this say about peoples minds i ask? How is this even possible i ask, IF Trump were not so connected to the CFR as are they all which is why im not voting, but IF he werent, i would vote for him, because as of yet i havent heard him say anything i disagree with, other than Israel support of his Zionist friends.
