Mastery learning, Values Clarification, Mastery Teaching, and all that psychology stuff I had to put up with becoming a HS math teacher (it had to be math–you can’t screw with verifiable truth, screw Common Core) and then not putting up with “Mastery Teaching” crap is one reason they wouldn’t renew me in 1989 in Van Horn (so I taught in Presidio), and one of the biggest reasons I home schooled my kids (after quitting Presido…the principal was a jack@$$).
