Man accused of making terroristic threat to FBCSO

FORT BEND COUNTY – A man is in jail today after allegedly making a threatening phone call to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Gustavo Garcia is in the Fort Bend County Jail under $50,000 facing a third degree felony charge for making a terroristic threat.  

635787259948297336-GarciaInvestigators say Garcia, 53, called dispatch Thursday morning and threatened to “kill everyone in the police department.” He was arrested at his home in Stafford and investigators said he later confessed to the crime.

“With the recent events that have happened with the targeting of police officers, the threats of killing police officers that are out there, we’re going to take this seriously.” said Detective Justin White with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
