March of Life: Remembering. Reconciliation. A Statement Against Anti-Semitism and for Israel.

Published on Jul 1, 2019

With commemorative marches in Germany, Europe and all over the world, March of Life sends a clear message against antisemitism. In over 20 nations and 400 cities, tens of thousands have gathered on the streets to commemorate the Shoah, to seek reconciliation with survivors and their descendants, and to position themselves clearly against all forms of antisemitism with a public statement. March of Life is an initiative of Jobst and Charlotte Bittner and the evangelical-free church TOS Ministries from Tübingen in Germany. The core of the movement is the personal working through of the participants’ family histories. Marches of Life take place in cooperation and with the support of Jewish communities, as well as politicians and public figures, and are organized by private individuals in close consultation with March of Life. The movement has received several awards for its successful commitment against antisemitism, including the Emil-L.-Fackenheim Prize from the Jewish Community at Halle (Saale). You too can organize a March in your city!

  1. “Marches of Life take place in cooperation and with the support of Jewish communities, as well as politicians and public figures,…”

That being the case, the narrative needs adjustment…

MARCHES OF DEATH would be the proper designation.
