After declaring a “humanitarian crisis,” the outcry from Martha’s Vineyard over just 50 illegal alien arrivals has prompted Gov. Charlie Baker (R) to deport the group from the elite island off the coast of Massachusetts to a nearby military base.
This week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) flew about 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard — a wealthy enclave of liberals and home to former President Obama who owns a nearly $12 million estate.
As Breitbart News estimates, the island could house about six million illegal aliens.
Democrat officials on Martha’s Vineyard immediately declared a “humanitarian crisis” even as the 50 illegal alien arrivals are a drop in the ocean compared to the nearly 6,000 border crossers and illegal aliens that American border towns are subjected to every day.

In response, Baker bused the illegal aliens off Martha’s Vineyard to Joint Base Cape Cod following Democrats’ outcry that DeSantis’ flying illegal aliens to the elite island was “evil and inhumane” even as President Joe Biden buses and flies thousands of illegal aliens every day to working and middle class communities.
Residents on the island voted up to 88 percent for Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
“… [Joint Base Cape Cod] can provide dedicated space for access to legal services and other essential services such as basic healthcare,” Baker said in a statement, noting that the illegal aliens will live in “dormitory-style spaces.”
Baker is also deploying about 125 members of the Massachusetts National Guard to aid the illegal aliens arriving at Joint Base Cape Cod.
Buses have arrived in Edgartown to transport migrants from St. Andrew’s Parish House.

The move comes as the Biden administration is reportedly reviewing “legal options” against Republican governors who are sending border crossers and illegal aliens to Democrat havens rather than keeping them in their states.
Baker also claimed that Martha’s Vineyard is “not equipped to provide sustainable accommodation” to illegal aliens. Wealthy residents, though, leave their summer homes on Martha’s Vineyard in the autumn and winter months — providing excess shelter space for new arrivals.
“Most of those multi-million dollar mansions are summer homes that are vacant most of the year,” Christina Pushaw, a spokeswoman for DeSantis’s re-election campaign, said. “They can be used to house thousands of illegal migrants. Time to walk the walk, Biden voters.”
The Obamas, for instance, do not live primarily at their vacation home in Martha’s Vineyard. Instead, the family spends most of their time at their primary residence in Washington, DC — an $8.1 million estate in the exclusive Kalorama neighborhood.
On Martha’s Vineyard, the Obamas’ property boasts 29 acres, a private beach, seven bedrooms, and eight and a half bathrooms. The residence alone could likely house up to 15 newly arrived illegal aliens while the acreage could house the remaining 35 illegal aliens in makeshift facilities.
My wife lived on the “Vineyard” when we met, we still have many friends there but we’ll only visit in the dead of winter.
However this political “theater” article is mostly bullsh!t. If you believe in the R’s and D’s (which I know no one here does, including myself) Baker is what they call a rino, I call him a cQck biter.
Also there are a ton of illegals on the island, they’re everywhere mostly Brazilian. The average lawn cutting Brazilian is making 50-75k a year there. They own all the landscaping and painting businesses.
Putting 6 million people on 95 sq. miles would make the population density 5x that of Chicago. That would be 62,500 people per SQ mile. Does such a place exist ?
Breitbart cherry picking photos of mansions gives the opposite impression of what it’s really like there, sure they exist but what beach town or any other town doesn’t have them? The people I know worked incredibly hard to own their 700-800 SQ foot homes.
Schools there are a liberals dream, both pre teen kids I know are not sure of their gender !
We all know this is part of the distribution plan to water down the sovereignty of our republic.

What’s wrong with this picture? I mean all weekend I’m seeing story-after-story of “the poor migrants” that have been tossed to the rich. But the main point is not being brought home. Sure, the rich are unsettled by this; they’ve never cared to deal with the poor, and I do delight in seeing a little upset in their lives, but those governors who are shipping out “the poor migrants” are acting so cool, kind of like saying, “Now it’s your problem.”
But what are they doing actually? They’re moving invaders further into the country. If they were exercising the law, they would stop this flow and turn the invaders back, would stop them by any means possible. Yeah I know, governors and ALL politicians ignore the law. Corruption pays well.
The focus is being taken off the real problem and is instead focusing on rich vs poor, and false-right vs false-left. With every passing minute we are losing our country while this is being turned into a circus, really a side show with many even finding humor in it. Someone told me the country is already lost, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get it back. We have our 2nd Article, and if we want to live free…
