Military helicopter drops box of ammo in Miami area

Deadline Miami

A metallic box containing ammunition was dropped from a military helicopter Wednesday night during a training exercise in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Police ask that anyone who sees the box to leave it alone and call 911 immediately.

Earlier this week, Miami-Dade police announced that there would be a joint military training exercise in Miami-Dade and Broward County, but did not specify times or locations of the training.

The routine training helps military personnel operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming deployments and meet mandatory training certification requirements.

It was not clear exactly when or where the box fell.

  1. But what are they doing flying above with live ammo? I remember NOT being allowed to have live rounds on training exercise, not even with us. Let alone being left unattended to fall out of the craft to the ground in an urban population center!

  2. My Fellow Americans:

Walking around and a box of ammo is found,….

    GONE.

JD – US Marines – Whoever finds this box of ammo,.. make sure you give it back to these commie bastards,… one round at a time,.. at high velocity!

    .

  3. Fat chance that’s going to happen – in Miami???? Seriously? Oh please give it back?? Next best thing to pennies from Heaven.,,,,, ammo from Heaven. LOL

  4. Maybe Bernankie has seen the light and instead of helicopter money drops they are starting helicopter ammo drops…..(one can dream, sigh)

  5. Live ammo? seriously?
why live ammo for an exercise?

people,, huge lie .. thats a f@#$in lie dammit

or, if they are rolling around in a fully loaded Heli .. yeah I’d say the war has started and we are late , they are already practicing and drilling for what we already know is coming

Routine training? Is that what they call it?

I agree with Enemy of the State. Somebody on that ‘training exercise’ came up.
