Multiple adults and children reported killed in Ohio shooting

Fox 2 Now

Pike County, Ohio – Authorities are investigating “multiple fatalities” in Pike County, Ohio, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office said Friday morning.

A local pastor told WCPO that two adults and five children were shot to death.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) tells FOX 8 News that there are bodies at multiple locations on Union Hill Road in Peebles, Ohio.

Spokesman Dan Tierney says the Pike County Sheriff’s Office requested state help at 8:20 a.m. Friday. Tierney had no information on whether a suspect was in custody, and BCI says they are not aware of an active shooter situation. Tierney had no confirmation on the number of fatalities.

Pike County is some 80 miles east of Cincinnati.

  1. An article I read about this tragedy earlier stated that they were all members of the same family, and I have to wonder why that’s not mentioned here.

    (is the story changing already?)

The other article didn’t say anything about “multiple locations”, either, so they might be moving bodies to make it seem like random, or unrelated killings.

I’m going to look for the link, and if I can find it, I’ll be back to post it.

  2. did someone in that family commit a very heinous crime and not pay for it? and this is the pay back?

Or is this to shut up a family that knows something and were going to talk about it ?
