Nevada Cop Turns Police Dog Loose On Infant

A recently released video (below) shows police in Henderson, Nevada, turning a police dog loose on a 17-month-old girl on Jan. 30.

Police ordered Arturo Arenas-Alvarez, whom they mistook for a black male robbery suspect, out of his car, and, later, turned the K9 unit loose. The dog went inside the car and bit the toddler, Ayleen, on the right arm, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Sgt. James Mitchell Police DogArenas-Alvarez told the police in broken English that he had his baby with him, but the dog had already bitten the girl by the time an officer yelled, “There’s an infant in that car! There’s an infant in that car!”

The family’s lawyer said that Ayleen suffered nine punctures or abrasions. The City of Henderson recently paid the family $13,000 to settle a legal claim.

Police had apparently concluded that Arenas-Alvarez was not their suspect, but Sgt. James Mitchell, who recently arrived, turned his dog loose to search inside Arenas-Alvarez’s car.

“In my opinion, the dog was used too fast,” Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers stated.

The police department sat on the video for almost a year before releasing it to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which had requested all records relevant to the incident.

Mitchell would not speak to the media, but reportedly switched from the K9 unit to patrol in August, which Moers said was voluntary. The dog, Doerak, has since been assigned to another cop.

Police originally answered a call from a health food store owner who said that someone had threatened to rob him, but in reality a customer tried to return some protein powder, which the store refused to take back because it had been opened. The customer allegedly said he was going to rob the owner, but no robbery occurred.

“I don’t understand why it happened,” Arenas-Alvarez told KSNV. “I believe they are supposed to be trained for this situation. I practically didn’t see any trained officers.”

“My daughter wakes up many times in the middle of the night scared,” Arenas-Alvarez added. “She occasionally wakes up crying.”

  1. I am telling you right now, if that was my kid, those gestapo pig bastards and their piece of sh*t rabid dog would all be dead! It was already determined that he was NOT the suspect for the crime they were supposedly investigating. $13000?!? Those pig bastards should have been sued for a lot more than that! The officer who released the dog should be fired and charged for aggravated assault on a child!

“‘In my opinion, the dog was used too fast,’ Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers stated.”

Used too fast?!? No idiot, it shouldn’t have been used at all!

  2. “The City of Henderson recently paid the family $13,000 to settle a legal claim.”

Sounds to me like they threw them some cash to cover medical expenses (barely), and once the family accepted it, they lost their right to sue. (the plaintiff’s case is usually “settled” by their acceptance of any cash from the defendant. If you’re injured by a cop, don’t accept anything until you talk to a lawyer).

Any lawyer would have gotten them a lot more money than that for this sick cop’s behavior.

The suspect was already out of the car when they let the dog in, so there was no need for this, except of course, to satisfy the cop’s lust to see someone brutalized.

  3. Sadistic F_-KS!

I hope every dam bump in the night this cop wakes up in a cold sweat

and IF he ever has any kids .. well I hope he fears for their safety every day , not that anything should ever be done to his kids , but just the installation of Karma and fear that it could happen is more damaging in long term, I cant wait to see shit like this squirm when the dogs of war are unleashed

My family has taken the “100 heads rule” to heart ( at least the ones who will be making the calls) , so F with any of mine at your own peril

  4. “I believe they are supposed to be trained for this situation. I practically didn’t see any trained officers.”

    Yes, you did.

jew trained pigs is exactly what you saw.
