New York Ebola Press Conference Of Lies – Full Press Conference

WJBK | Fox 2 News Detroit published the entire press conference given regarding the first case of Ebola in New York, where A Doctors Without Borders physician, Craig Spencer, 33, returned from an Ebola hot zone, Guinea, on October 17, 2014, after treating Ebolapatients and developed symptoms of Ebola and has tested positive for the deadly virus which has killed over 4,500 people in west Africa.

It has been reported that before developing a fever, Dr. Spencer suffered from “fatigue” described by CNN as “feeling sluggish a couple of days ago, but it wasn’t until Thursday, when he developed 100.3-degree fever,” then he contacted Doctors Without Borders to report his symptoms.

Before developing the fever, but after the onset of the listed Ebola symptom of “weakness” aka fatigue or “sluggishness,” Spencer went for a jog, may have gone to a restaurant, traveled the city’s vast subway system and went bowling.”

When listening to the press conference below, keep in mind a few things, such as “infected materials” and “surfaces” are specifically mentioned by the World Health Organization (WHO)  on their Ebola virus disease facts, found here. WHO also states on their FAQ page that people that suspect they may have Ebola “should seek immediate medical attention at the first sign they are feeling unwell.”

Via Star Tribune on when Ebola is contagious: “Only when someone is showing symptoms. MEDTV reports “Even if a person exhibits no signs or symptoms of Ebola, he or she can still spread the virus during the incubation period. Once symptoms begin, the person can remain contagious for about three more weeks.”

So for two days, Spencer had symptoms of Ebola, the “sluggish” reference, just not the reported high-grade fever, yet in the press conference below, you will see them assert that “contagiousness is related to how sick you are,” and they claim that one isn’t contagious unless they are “extremely ill.” They also claim that because Spencer didn’t have a “fever” he wasn’t contagious, yet according to this LA Times article, “the largest study of the current outbreak found that in nearly 13% of “confirmed and probable” cases in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and elsewhere, those infected did not have fevers.”

Also in the press conference, Dr. Mary Travis Bassett, New York City’s health commissioner, states “At the time that the doctor was on the subway he did not have fever … he was not symptomatic,” and she goes on to claim that the chance of other passengers on the subway contracting Ebola due to Spencer’s traveling on the subway, are “close to nil.”

Those are direct quotes and according to any Ebola FAQ page, whether it is the CDC, WHO are anyone else publishing them, those are also direct lies told at this press conference for the sole purpose of preventing a panic in NY.

Via the CDC guidelines for “Ebola Infection for Airline Crews, Cleaning Personnel, and Cargo Personnel,” we see a number routineprecautionary measures, including “Give a surgical mask if a sick traveler is coughing or sneezing,” meaning that simply breathing in the aerosolized particles from someone coughing or sneezing, can cause infection.

Mr. Spencer was contagious as of the onset of the first symptoms he felt, according to every FAQ page out there, yet this NY Ebolapress conference of lies, claims there is no risk.

Every surface Spencer touched, because sweat also carries the virus, every door handle, every knob…. anything this man came into contact with, could spread the Ebola virus to the next person touching it.

Via the CDC’s Q&A on Transmission: “Ebola is killed with hospital-grade disinfectants (such as household bleach). Ebola on dry surfaces, such as doorknobs and countertops, can survive for several hours; however, virus in body fluids (such as blood) can survive up to several days at room temperature.”

Questions: 1.) Where was the new “Ebola Czar” during this press conference and why hasn’t he made a public statement? 2.) Why are these officials directly lying to the public and by not encouraging the proper protective measures be taken, but instead claiming the risk of spread due to Spencer’s actions is “close to nil,” doesn’t that make them responsible for any further infection spread via the subway, bowling alley or transport Spencer took?” 3.) What are the odds that this occurred just one week after NY Governor Andrew Cuomo announced random Ebola drills for the subway?

These are all questions the mainstream media should be asking but they are not, which leads to question number 4.) Is the media just as culpable in any spread of the Ebola virus from Dr. Spencer?
