Why are people talking sh*t about him now that he’s dead? Why wasn’t anyone saying anything when he was alive and well? A lot of it is most likely made up rumors. Jealousy.
Are you defending him? People did talk “sh*t” about him when he was alive, but as all other things opposing the dehumanizing agenda, that talking was marginalized. Mainstream controlling dialogue. And of course, if one spoke out one was labeled a prude or uncool and behind the times. All this, while our humanity was taken to its lowest common denominator, from healthy and beautiful sexuality to raunchy and exploitive debauchery. And the trickle down effect has brought us to where we are today. Real intimacy on the chopping block along with family stability and parental decision-making regarding children. You ask about being “jealous.” Jealous of what? Of a weakened society that while romping around for a few decades saw war ravage the earth, saw privacy die, saw toxicity coming at us from so many camps, saw nature being morphed into ugliness, saw our rights and dignity trampled on, saw a police state heightened to unbelievable levels, saw our nation and many other nations invaded under the guise of “immigration?” One could go on for days explaining the demise. And yes, Hefner played a big part in this. This is my opinion and I’ll just add that it will take a long time to pick up the pieces and make us strong and proud again. We are so much more than what he propounded.

A few afterthoughts. I am against censorship but I have a right to note what I think has led us to the place we are today. So with just a glance at some of the off-the-chart stats on std’s, sharp rise in rectal cancer, child sexual molestation, we’ve got to ask ourselves what went wrong? And who was a contributor?
