Perhaps the most shocking revelation contained in the excerpts from former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile’s book was, unsurprisingly, buried in a Washington Post overview of the various allegations (and frankly, we’re surprised the Post, given its status as a protector of the Washington establishment, deigned to publish it).
In the aftermath of Wikileaks’ decision to publish a cache of emails stolen from the DNC’s servers, Donna Brazile says she became increasingly paranoid about both possible Russian efforts to sway the election. Surprisingly, she says top Democrats initially instructed her not to discuss her concerns with others. Continue reading “Donna Brazile Says She “Feared For Her Life” After Seth Rich Was Killed”
LAS VEGAS — More than three years after the 2014 Bundy standoff with federal officers near Bunkerville and after two trials in the case, testimony elicited in court Friday revealed for the first time that the FBI had one surveillance camera perched on a hill overlooking the Bundy Ranch.
A large TV screen set up in the federal officers’ makeshift compound carried a live feed from the images, National Park Service ranger Mary Hinson testified.
Her testimony came during questioning by defendant Ryan Bundy in a pretrial hearing held in federal court in Nevada. Continue reading “Days before trial, defense confirms FBI had surveillance camera outside Bundy Ranch”

New York, NY — A scathing and massive $27 million lawsuit was just filed on behalf of three Florida models against a former top investment fund manager for George Soros. Howard ‘Howie’ Rubin, 62—who was featured in Liar’s Poker, a book described as ‘defining Wall St.’—is accused of rape, assault, kidnapping, and human trafficking.
The women in the lawsuit, two of which are former Playboy bunnies, accuse Rubin of operating an $8 million penthouse in Manhattan which contains a secret “dungeon of sex toys, masks, and BDSM apparatus.” In this penthouse, according to the lawsuit, the women would be imprisoned while Rubin had his violent way with them.

BEIJING (AP) — China’s rubber-stamp legislature on Saturday made disrespecting the national anthem a criminal offense punishable by up to three years in prison amid rising nationalist appeals from the ruling Communist Party under the leadership of President Xi Jinping.
The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress passed an amendment to the country’s criminal law outlining punishments for people found “seriously” disrespecting the national anthem in public. Continue reading “China’s answer to anthem disrespect: up to 3 years in prison”
It’s been more than a month since Stephen Paddock smashed two windows in his hotel suite and opened fire on a crowd of 20,000 unsuspecting country music fans, and investigators are still desperately grasping for something that sounds like a motive in the deadliest mass shooting in US history. Extrapolating from the evidence that’s been presented to the public, it seems whatever Paddock’s motive might’ve been, he took it to his grave. Indeed, it seems logical to assume that any hints of Paddock’s state of mind in the moments leading up to the attack were encoded on the hard drive he reportedly smashed (or maybe even clues that might’ve led investigators to a possible accomplice). As the Harvey Weinstein scandal spreads like an STD throughout the entertainment industry worldwide, as the courage of those coming forward to name names inspires similar courage in others, we cannot allow ourselves to become so accustomed to the allegations that they lose their power to outrage.
Although some male victims have come forward, the alleged victims here are mostly vulnerable young women and children. Worse, so far, all of the alleged abusers are the very men whose primary responsibility in any civilized society is to protect women and children. A new book claims that male office workers are now so afraid of being on the receiving end of a sexual harassment case, they are reluctant to mentor, assist, befriend and even hold open doors for female colleagues.
Crushingly, Sex & The Office suggests men now view such ordinary, decent behaviours as “too risky” – and, in what will be a bitter irony for equality campaigners – claims that, as a direct consequence, women are now failing to advance at work.

The Israeli American Council is a ten-year-old organization of dual US-Israeli citizens. A year ago it launched a lobbying arm, the Israeli American Coalition for Action, which has been the driving force and partial architect of anti-BDS laws passed in Nevada, California and Texas and is currently advancing similar legislation in Massachusetts. It also helped promote the “Taylor Force Act” and other bills for Israel.
New York Jewish Week and Moment magazine describe the actions of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) and its new lobbying arm, Israeli-American Coalition for Action (IAC for Action). Continue reading “Dual citizens driving US laws against Palestinians, BDS, etc”

Internet researcher Katica (Twitter GOPollAnalyst) may have found the hidden thread that unravels a much bigger story within the Uranium One-Clinton-FBI scandal.
In an otherwise innocuous FBI FOIA FILE Katica located a notice for preservation of documents sent by an FBI special agent to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on August 28th, 2015. What is interesting about the preservation request(s) are the recipients, their attachment to CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States), and the timeline of events surrounding the agent’s notification.
