After a devastating blow from the pro-Second Amendment population in America against her major gun grab last year, Feinstein has determined to dig a little deeper. In fact, a letter that she has been circulating in Washington that cites a 45 year old law, which basically allows certain guns to be stopped from import, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives interpretation of “sporting purposes.”   Continue reading “Feinstein Touts 45 Year Old Law to Ban Semi-Automatic Rifle Imports”

So holds Rhein v. Pryor (N.D. Ill. Mar. 20, 2014). At this stage of the proceedings, there has been no fact finding based on the plaintiffs’ allegations, so one cannot assume that the defendants indeed behaved the way the plaintiffs claim. I quote the case only to show what legal theories can be brought if government officials do indeed act in the ways the plaintiffs allege. Here are the factual allegations; note that a FOID card is a Firearm Owners Identification Card that is required under Illinois law to possess guns:   Continue reading “Free speech, right to bear arms, search and seizure, and due process claims based on gun seizure can go forward”

Not one Wall Street executive has been criminally prosecuted in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Why not?

The Justice Department says — well, it’s not easy to prove intent.

Peter Henning asks — if that’s the case, why don’t we have a recklessness standard for corporate executive wrongdoing?   Continue reading “A Recklessness Standard for Corporate Executive Wrongdoing”

David and Connie Johnson were asleep when they heard a noise Connie later described as the “walls caving in.” Seconds later their front door was forced open and two armored strangers burst into the two-room apartment the middle-aged couple share with their adult son, Aaron.

Several other assailants were clustered behind the two who had forced open the door. One of them was a female holding a leash that barely restrained a large, snarling dog. One of the intruders pointed as assault rifle at David’s head and threatened to shoot him. Another invader, a female, bellowed, “Put your hands up! This dog will bite you!”   Continue reading “Idaho Family Terrorized by Midnight Paramilitary Raid”

There have been many recorded cases where folks have used natural elements to eradicate that of which is causing their suffering.  Certain things have worked for some, where others experienced relief from different sources.

The thing is this; It’s up to us to research and find what could help ourselves, for the typical sources cannot be wholly trusted, as they once could be.   Continue reading “Top 8 foods and herbs for healing cancer”

Although a notorious recipient of “corporate welfare,” Walmart has now admitted that their massive profits also depend on the funding of food stamps and other public assistance programs.

In their annual report, filed with the Security and Exchange Commission last week, the retail giant lists factors that could potentially harm future profitability. Listed among items such as “economic conditions” and “consumer confidence,” the company writes that changes in taxpayer-funded public assistance programs are also a major threat to their bottom line.   Continue reading “Walmart Admits: ‘Our Profits’ Depend on ‘Their Poverty’”

A court ruling had already determined that the 7 round magazine limit imposed by New York’s SAFE Act was unconstitutional. However, the ruling will likely face court challenges in other courts before it’s all said and done.

In the meantime, apparently the New York State Police have joined other law enforcement agencies in instructing their officers not to enforce the law as it currently stands.   Continue reading “New York State Police Instructed Not to Enforce SAFE Act Mag Limit”

If you take politicians and the mainstream media seriously, you believe that Iran wants a nuclear weapon and has relentlessly engaged in covert efforts to build one. Even if you are aware that Iran signed the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and is subject to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections, you may believe that those who run the Islamic Republic have cleverly found ways to construct a nuclear-weapons industry almost undetected. Therefore, you may conclude, Democratic and Republican administrations have been justified in pressuring Iran to come clean and give up its “nuclear program.”   Continue reading “Debunking the Official Narrative about the Alleged Iranian Threat”
