Two days before Christmas, Jon Peditto will be let out of the Ocean County Jail just long enough for a sentencing hearing.
At that proceeding, the 54-year-old Mays Landing resident, convicted at trial Oct. 29, will get up to 20 years in prison. He will have to serve at least 10 years under mandatory minimum sentencing laws.
His crime? Growing 17 marijuana plants in the Pinelands.
Peditto’s family members think it’s ridiculous that their loved one — who admitted growing pot for the use of himself and four or five friends — was convicted of maintaining a drug manufacturing facility for his small plot in the woods.
Peditto’s brother Chris and girlfriend Marilu Zahn spoke exclusively to Chasing News about how they are picking up the torch of Jon’s cause as Jon waits in jail for sentencing. They tell a story of a man who admitted doing something illegal but hoped a jury of his peers would recognize he had no intention of hurting anyone.
They believe Jon Peditto’s case is one of thousands of reasons the nation’s marijuana laws should change.
Jury Nullification. They ought to pursue that angle, appeal to the compassionate humanity of the jury in nullifying the charges.
With nearly 1/2 of the states having or soon to be having medical marijuana access, join consensus reality if you must, but see the light of truth. It really is a wonder plant. I am currently medicating with a strain I grew in my back yard this summer. Grape Ape. Works great!
Thank you Washington State for having this law.
“He will have to serve at least 10 years under mandatory minimum sentencing laws.”
Basically a death sentence, since the NWO agenda will either be fully implemented or destroyed by that time. Not much likelihood of anyone in prisons surviving either way, once the SHTF.

Gun up, and take as many of the scumbags with you as you can.
while doctors along with big pharma murder thousands every year with nary a peep
yes but PEOPLE ARE STUPID and those chosen are not aware of jury nullification.
Again, SPREAD THE WORD.
