Primitive Trout Fishing

Published on Nov 22, 2013 – by Torjus Gaaren

This fishing is as basic as this video’s production! Spawning brown trout (Salmo trutta) can be very easy to catch in shallow streams. One of the techniques, tickeling can be effective even if it’s a bit deeper.

You can try out these techniques and more on my autumn courses.
Check up on http://livingprimitively.com/ every now and then for information. The Veidemann course is based around fishing. Pictures and contact info at http://backwoodsurvival.co.uk/

PS! A friendly note to all want to be environmentalists, animal rights activists and legally minded people. These lakes are overflowing with fish, we fish thousands every year to reduce parasites and make their living conditions better. Easier life for them, better fish for us. We’ve been using these methods for as long as I can remember, so I claim them my aboriginal right. 🙂
