Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard that one. You’re right about the lyrics, RickE. Great choice. 🙂
Thanks for finding and posting it for him, digger. Good job. 🙂
Thanks Angel! I personally LOVE this song, as it’s from back in my day. Plus it’s even more relevant today than it was in 1970 when it was written.
This group is an example of the “San Francisco sound”, back in the day when Jefferson Airplane/Starship were the premier “Frisco” sound.
Quicksilver never attained the popularity of Jefferson Starship, but were an excellent, though under-rated group, with great lyrics and music too.
Have a great one!
Hey Digger. like this song. very good lyrics. ya know i guess back then i was too into my self to recognize the messages that were being sung back then. You and others are educating me about those times.
I didn’t think there was a rock-n-roll band anywhere that I’d never heard of, but this is them.
Not a bad song, but not for me.
But, RickE, you’re right. It definitely does have the west coast hippie sound, which is completely different from the east coast hippie sound. I guess today we have east and west coast rappers.
This ones for you RickE as requested 🙂
Yes I remember it from back in the day myself. Had to think though for a while old memeries for sure
Thanks much digger! Few websites are like this one: I can get entertained and informed at the same time!
